LAWCET examination is done for admission in the LAW college in Andhra pradesh .The admission is done for 3 and 5 years LLB course.

Eligibility ::

For 3 year LLB course ::

You must have passed graduation with 45% of aggregate marks from the recognized Universities.
You must be less then 30 years and for SC/ST upper age limit is 35 years

For 5 year LL.B

You must have passed 12th class with 45% of aggregate marks.
You must not be more then 20 years and for SC/ST it is 22 years

Since you have not mentioned the name of the institute in Andhra pradesh for the counselling date of this course it is difficult for me to answer your incomplete question however if you are talking about the most common and popular law exam of Andhra pradesh called LAWCET then I can provide you the details:

LAWCET is a common Entrance Test in the field of Law. This exam is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE). This exam is conducted for the admission into the 3 year and 5 year LLB and B.L courses based on the merit one gets in it.

To be eligible for the 3 year course you must have completed graduation from any discipline and that for the 5 year course you must be atleast a 10+2 holder in any field of study.
This entrance is highly regulated and only the domicile students of Andhra Pradesh are eligible for it.

This exam has been conducted in the month of june and the results have already being announced.

Earlier it was said that the counselling will start in august but now the date has been postponed.
The chairman of APSCHE has announced that the LAWCET counselling is expected to start in the month of september from 15th to 18th september.

About LLB Degree :- LLB stands for Bachelor of Laws. Counseling date in Andhra Pradesh which already held on 11/06/2011 so,don't worry you can apply next year.In india the number of Advocates decreases from year to year.

All the students are going for engineering ,Medicine and Management ,from them a few only are focusing for LLB.

LLB is a war field through which we can explore our knowledge and skillS in court .For Joining the course the candidate should complete his degree after that student can join in Law colleges.

Completing three year in LLB the student can take his masters in LLB,Master degree is LLM .If we consider the acheivers in India.

Most of them are LLB holders .Example :- Mahatma Gandhi,Dr.B.R Ambadkar.

For Joining LLB the Eligibility criteria is below :-

i) Candidate must complete his degree with 45% in aggregate subjects ,for SC/ST candidate only 35% is required.

ii) Candidate age Limit should be in between 21 to 30 years.

iii) 5 years relaxation provided for SC/ST candidate by Andhra Pradesh government.
