IIBF JAIIB exam is aimed at providing the required knowledge of basic knowledge in bankiing and financial services, banking technology, customer relaxation, basic accountancy and legal aspects necessary for carrying out the banking operations.

The exam is open for only the ordinary members of the IIBF. Also the candidate must have passed the matriculation or its equivalent. Even the subordinate staff of banking / financial institution can apply for the exam provided they have passed the matriculation.

The exam consist of three section or sub exams that are conducted on a separate day each:
*Principles and practices of Banking
*Accounting and finance for bankers
*Legal and regulatory aspects of banking

you can apply at the regional centres or the zonal offices of IIBF in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi or Kolkata.

The tentative dates for the exam are as follows:
*Date of opening: February beginning
*Closing date: March beginning
*Date of exam(s): whole of May
