    NET stands for National Eligibility Test is conducted for qualifying the Students for admission into Ph.D .

    The exam is commenced on Dec 24th 2011 .

    The last date for applying online is 25th Oct 2011 .
    Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (2 copies), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) at the respective test centre opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificates) is 31st Oct 2011 .

    You can apply online through www.ugcnetonline.in .

    The Eligibility Criteria for NET Examinations 2011 is :

    You must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masterís Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test .
    If you are in the Graduate Final yr then also you are eligible for appearing for this examination .
    You must be in the age of 20-28 yrs only applicable for this examination .

    For more info :
    For General candidates, the examination fee is Rs.450/-; for Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website : www.ncbc.nic.in ), the fee is Rs. 225/- and for SC/ST/PH/VH candidates, it is Rs. 110/- .

    NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and this examination was Conducted By UGC Twice in a year, the examination was held in June and December Every year, The June NET Examination was already completed and Those who are Interested in NET examination may fill the NET Application form Online, soon before the last date. The Notification of December NET Examination was already Published in the official website in the Month of September and the last date of apply for NET Examination was 25/Oct/2011.

    So, If you are Interested in NET Examination, then please fill the NET Application form Online.

    To apply for NET Examination, you need to fulfill the Given Eligiblity Criteria -

    >> You must have completed your Post graduate degree course form a recognised University.
    >> Your must have scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation.
    >> Final year Post graduate candidates are also apply for NET Examination.

    Those who are eligible, may apply for Lectureship Post and Junior Research fellowship Post, There is No Age Restriction to apply for Lectureship Post, But for Junior Research fellowship Post, your age should not be more than 28 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    So, Please apply for NET examination, soon before the last date. The examination fees of NET was Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank and then you are eligible to fill the Online NET Application form, the Challan form was already available in the UGC website, so please visit the UGC website and download the challan form and pay the fees soon in SBI Bank.

    So, If you are Interested in NET Examination, then please apply for this examination Online soon before the last date.

    The examination was Going to be held on 24/Dec/2011.

    And You have to choose the subjects in NET Examination as per your Post graduation, the syllabus and Previous year paper of NET Examination was already available in the official website, so please check the official website of UGC for complete Information about NET Examination -
