    NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and this examination was Conducted by UGC Twice in a year, First in June and then in December Every year, the June 2011 NET Examination was Already Completed.

    >> And If you are Interested to apply for NET Examination, then Please wait for the December NET Examination Notification, The Notification was Published/Released in the Month of September.

    The Notification was Published in 26Th September 2011 and the examination was going to be held on Saturday 24/Dec/2011.

    >> So, When the Notification was Released all the information was properly mentioned on it, So please wait for few days and then apply for NET Examination.

    NET Eligiblity Criteria -

    >> To apply for NET Examination you need to complete your Master degree course in any discipline form a recognised University.

    >> You must have to scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation course. If any one fails to scored minimum 55% marks in Post graduation then they are not eligible to apply for NET Examination.

    >> Final Year Post graduate candidates are also apply for NET Examination.

    Eligible candidates may apply for NET Examination Online By visit the UGC Website.

    The examination fees of NET Was rs 450 and You have to pay the fees as a challan form in any State Bank of India Branch and then you can fill the NET Application form Online.

    There are 3 Papers in NET Examination and all are conducted in same day in 2 session. First session paper are Objective and Last session paper was Descriptive.

    >> Candidates have to choose the Optional subjects in NET Examination as per the Post Graduation Subjects only. The syllabus and Previous year NET Examination paper was availiable Online, So please check the official website and download the Paper form the official website and keep practice for the examination to cracked this examination.

    Yet now the NET exam dates are not announced.
    It will be declared till 2nd week of september.
    Exam will held in December first week but exact date is not announced.
    NET is conducted twice in year in the month of June and December.
    The notification are available in the month ostensibly march and September.
    The registration is done online for appearing in examination.

    dear UGC NET exam is on December
    the last date to submit the application form is on Monday, September 24,2012.
    the date of the exam is on 23, Sunday .December.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATION TO GET ELIGIBLE FOR THIS EXAM
    if you have secured at least 55% of marks and 50% of marks in SC,T,PH,VH. in masters degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC humanities including languages and social sciences,
    computer science and applications,
    electronic science etc..
    are going to eligible .

    if you are in the final year of your study than also you are eligible for this programme.but you have to complete your PG degree examination with in two years from the date of teh NET exam with required percentage or else you will be disqualified.
    if you are a PHD degree holder and if your masters level exam was compleated by 19 September,1991 than you are eligible with 50% of marks with 5% of relaxation in marks. i.e from 55% to 50% of marks to get eligible.
    age limit
    lectureship NET:
    you must have 19 years to get eligible and there is no upper age limit.
    JRF(junior research fellowship) NET:
    you must have 19 years and maximum to 28 years to get eligible.

    paper-2 carries 100 marks and you have to get

    paper-3 carries 150 marks and you have to get

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.This test will be conduct for only lectureship , PHD and JRF .

    Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam but their is also some marks criteria.


    For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.


    For JRF ,The age should be below 28 years and for Lectureship there are no age limit.
