    hello . .
Engineering an 4 years degree course provides with enough theoretical knowledge which helps in implementing practically . Different streams of Engineering are present like Aeronautical , Computer Science , Electronics , Mechanical etc . Each stream has its own importance in its application areas . An Engineer with profession has options in both Public and Private sectors . Public sector deals with the Government where even though the pay might be less in comparison with Private sectors but the benefits which are given to an government servant are not provided in private sector . There is enough guarantee of job in public sectors . Even after the retirement , there are benefits provided which helps the person to stand on his own income . In case of Private sectors , the thing is that the pay is tempting and most of the people think in the sense of pay and move into it .

    hello dear,
subsidies for engineering students are there for the ST and SC students only.no matter which type of college the student is in(government or private).
getting into the government colleges is one type of subsidy, because there fee structures are much more less than the private ones.
for that you have to secure top notch ranks in entrance examinations.

    best of luck......
