After 10th standard you must take science stream with main subjects as Physics , Chemistry and Maths. Completing your 12th with these subjects will make you eligible to appear for the entrance exams for the admission in Aeronautical engg.
Also , your physics should be much more stronger and it's basic concepts must be very much clear.

    Dear,
In order to become an aeronautical engineer after 10th standard , you need to take PCM i.e. physics , chemistry , maths as your key subjects in class 11th and 12th as it is one of the eligibility criteria.
You must also pass class 12th with minimum of 60-65% marks.
At the same time you must start preparing for exams like AIEEE , IIT-JEE , then you can easily get into the aeronautical engineering.
    Thanks.

Re: What I must do after my 10th standard to become an Aeronautical Engineer?

After 10th standard, you have two options to enter the field of aeronautical engineering. First is, you can pass higher secondary (10+2) in PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 60%. And the second option is, you can pursue a diploma course from a Government recognized institution in the field of Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. After this, you can apply for Aeronautical Engineering. Try to focus your interests more on subjects like physics and mathematics. This will help you in clearing entrance exams of Aeronautical engineering colleges in India.
    all the best!!

    hii

do after my 10th standard to become an Aeronautical Engineer
As you are a 10th, standard student you can join for the +2 course in Science stream. It is good to take the Science group with Mathematics in your 12th standard. So you have to score at least 50% marks for getting into a better institute for degree course. After completion of your course you should appear for the National or State level engineering entrance test. The name of the test is AIEEE that is a National level entrance exam for Engineering. The test is conducted for finding out the aspirants who are qualified to do the B.E or B.Tech course with Aeronautical Engineering. It is better to do the course from a reputed institute. Further details you can get from the websites of the institutes.

    good luck

You need to satisfy the minimum educational qualification for the Engineering in aeronautics

You can make your self to the qualify in the following two ways

    1) higher secondary (2 years) then in to BE (aeronautical)
    2) the second option is the diploma course (3 years ) then into the direct second year of the BE (aeronautical)

to join in aeronautical engineering you must complete your 12th class and apply for engineering admissions.
to apply for engineering admissions you must complete your 12th with three mandatory subjects. viz:Physics Chemistry and Mathematics
using scores of these subject in board exam you can apply for engineering admissions and choose aeronautical stream.

you can also write entrance exams to get engineering admissions. you can complete 12th with maths physics and chemistry subjects and apply for engineering entrance exam like IIT-JEE AIEEE etc

so for now complete 10th and join in 11th with stream maths physics chemistry bio/computers
