    I HAVE COMPLETED MY INTERMEDIATE COURSE..I WANT 2 DO I.A.S SO, WHAT I HAVE TO DO NOW?

    hi ,
    you can do what do you want 3 years degree or 4 years bachelor degree or what ever you have to, but
    the minimum qualification is any degree to write IAS exam
    age should be 21 to 30years.there is age relaxation for ST/ SC and OBC and you should a citizen of india

    As you are asking about guidance in 12th for becoming IAS officer, let's look at the eligibility criteria required for IAS.


    Academic Qualification :


    * You must be a graduate in any of the streams from a recognized university.


    Age limits :


    You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.
    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
    upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
    upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)


    Number of attempts :


    The number of attempts can vary based on the Reservation your have i.e
    - General candidates: four attempts.
    - Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
    - Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.


    Depending upon the eligibility criteria for IAS you must be a graduate irrespective of your percentage in 10th and 12th, you must also fulfill the Eligibility criteria in order for you to opt for IAS.


    As you are still in your 12th complete your graduation, work hard and prepare well to achieve your goal.

    To apply for IAS you must fulfill the below ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ..

    >> You must possesses Degree from an Indian University or an Equivalent Qualification

    >> The final year students can also appear for Preliminary exam

    >> You must have minimum age of 21 years

    >> The maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    >> You must be an INDIAN

    There are some selection procedure such as:

    Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recruit the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

    According to the Eligibility Criteria:

    Flying branch as pilot will be selected through Short Service Commission for men & women

    Age:

    i) 19 to 23 years
    ii) 19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.

    Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

    Marital Status:

    You have to be Single.

    Nationality:

    You have to be Indian

    Gender:

    Men and women can apply for the examination.

    Educational Qualifications


    1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

    or

    You should have a degree of BE / B Tech of 4 years course from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

    2. Final year students can also apply,having no backlog and minimum 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year's semesters.

    Generally,the notice is published in the month of March and September every year.

    Dear Aspirant,
    It is good to see you aspire for IAS officer.India needs intellectual and efficient IAS officers.Inorder to become IAS officer,the basic eligibility is atleast graduate degree from any recognized institute in India.
    Since you have done Intermediate,so you need to pursue your graduate course in any recognized institute of India.This is the first step.Then you need to qualify in the written exam for IAS conducted UPSC which will be followed by interview and medical check up.Clearing all these,will ensure you the post of IAS officer under government of India.

    IAS (Indian administrative service ) is one of the most prestigious than other civil service examinations,if you have your aim to become IAS officer than after 12th
    you must have a degree from the recognized university incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in india .and you may have any kind of degree.

    • you must be the citizen of the india .
    • you my be the citizen of the Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee from 1St January 1962.

    IAS is the most prestigious and powerful post in Indian government services.
    So to fulfil your dreams first you have to complete your graduation study from a recognized university in any stream.

    So after class 12th study first you complete your graduation.

    Eligibilty for IAS examination:

    graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university .

    Age limit:
    21 years to 30 years.

    No . Of attempts to examination:
    4 for general
    7 for obc
    & no limit for sc/st category.

    UPSC every year conducts CIVIL services examination .

    Passing 12th standard is not enough to become IAS Officer.

    Still you are not eligible for Civil Services Exam that is conducted by UPSC for the posts of IAS, IPS, IFS, etc.

    If you have successfully passed 10+2 Exam, then you should do your Graduation in any stream from any recognized University.

    Now, you can appear for Civil Services Exam when you are in the Final Year of your Graduation.

    You can also appear for Civil Services Exam, when you have completed your Graduation.

    No. of Attempts is different for different castes:

    For General: 4 attempts

    For OBC: 7 attempts

    For SC/ST: No Restriction

    Age Limit:

    For General Candidates: 21 to 30 years

    For OBC Candidates: 21 to 33 years

    For SC/ST Candidates: 21 to 35 years

    Upcoming Civil Services Notification will be out on 2 February 2013 on the official site of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in

    And Online Applications will be filled through this site: upsconline.nic.in

    This exam conduct by Union Public Service Commission.

    I.A.S eligibility like ::

    because, the minimum educational qualification for IAS is any bachelor of degree

Then you have to apply for IAS exam held every year and you have to qualify in it.IAS or Indian Administrative Services is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC.Eligibility:-You should be a Graduate in any discipline.-Age limit is 21 to 30years.-No percentage criteria is required in 10th,12th and Graduation.-A relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to BC and Sc/St Categories.-Number of attempts for open category is 4 times, 7 times for OBC, no limit for SC & ST.Regards.

    You can do anything after 212th class for IAS,Means you can do graduation in any field in which you have interset.
    IAS not require any perticular stream in graduation.
    But minimum requirment for IAS is graduation in an field.

    IAS stands for Indian administrative services and to become IAS officer you have to complete your Graduation first and only then you are eligible to apply for the UPSC Civil services examination, this examination is conducted by UPSC every year and the Notification Published in the Month of February every year. Eligible and Interested candidates apply for this examination online from the official websites of UPSC.

    Graduation is the minimum qualification is set by UPSC, but your age should between 21 to 30 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for Reserved category candidates. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for this examination.

    So, after completing intermediate examination please apply for the Graduation and when you appear your final year of education then you are eligible for this examination, The examination is not easy because many candidates appear for this examination every year and the selection rate is also very less.

    You need at-least 1 year strong Preparation to cracked this examination.

    The examination is objective and first you have to appear for the Preliminary examination. There are total 2 papers in this examination and both are objective. If you cracked the preliminary examination once then you are eligible for Final examination. The final examination is descriptive also and you have to choose the subjects also.
