    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services and to become IAS Officer you have to cracked the UPSC Civil services examination.

    This examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year in 2 stages :

    >> Preliminary examination
    >> Main examination

    Firstly you have to cracked the Preliminary examination, Preliminary examination also called Civil services aptitude test (CSAT) and if you cracked this examination, Only then you are eligible to appear for Main examination.

    Preliminary examination is Objective and there are 2 papers in this examination and you have to cracked Both the examination.

    Main examination is Only for those candidates who cracked the Preliminary examination. Main examination is Descriptive one and there are 9 papers in Main examination and you have to choose the Optional Subjects on the basis of Graduation.

    The syllabus and Pattern is availiable in the Notification (When they Declared), Syllabus is also availiable in the official websites also.

    To apply for Civil services examination you have to fulfill these Eligibility Criteria :

    >> You have to cracked the Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognized University.

    >> Final year appearing candidates are also apply for this examination

    >> Your age should between 16.5 to 19 Years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    There is No Minimum percentage is Required to apply for this examination.

    dear the IAS(inidan administrative service) yo will get into this service if you will become a government officer like district collector.
    officer has more power to rule and to implement policy ,becoming IAS officer is really a great task .you have to do lot of hard work and you have to keep lot of potential to have IAS with you.the IAS officers are recruited by the union government by the recommendation from union public service commission,
    pattern of IAS EXAM,
    the IAS exam will be consists of
    • prelims,
    • mains,
    • and finally interview stage ,
    education eligibility,
    you can have graduate in any discipline from a university recognized by the university grants commission (UGC).
    if you are in the final year of your graduation than you can fill the main exam form.
    and you must be the citizen of india.
    age limit
    you must be minimum 21 years of age maximum is 30 years ,
    if you are belong to OBC category than you can have 21 to 33 years of age.
    for sc/st 21 to 35 years .
    you can attempt 4 times if you are belong to general category and 7 attempts for OBC and sc/st there is no limit for the exam,

    There are some selection procedure such as:

    Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recruit the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

    According to the Eligibility Criteria:

    Flying branch as pilot will be selected through Short Service Commission for men & women

    Age:

    i) 19 to 23 years
    ii) 19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.

    Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

    Marital Status:

    You have to be Single.

    Nationality:

    You have to be Indian

    Gender:

    Men and women can apply for the examination.

    Educational Qualifications


    1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

    As the name suggests it means Administrative services that you do for the country. This is a nation wide exam which is conducted by UPSC. There are other cadres as well which come on the same lines as IAS, example... IFS, IPS etc....

    IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer one has to appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.

    Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.

    IAS officers handle affairs of the government.
    They are authorised to sign agreements on behalf of the government.
    IN IAS cadre you can be sub magistrate,district magistrate,joint secretary ,deputy secretary etc.
    For IAS officer post you will have to appear in civil services examination.
    And after successful qualifying examination you get the post of IAS officer.

    The full forms of IAS is Indian Administrative Service.
    If you want to get admission in IAS then you have to be complete the following criteria.



    The eligibility criteria to apply for IAS are given bellow-

    1.You have to be complete your Graduation degree in any recognized University.

    2.Your age must have to be between 21-30 years.

    3.You have to be physically fit.

    So if you complete the above criteria then you can apply for IAS exam.

    IAS full form is Indian Administrative Service.

    IAS exam conduct by the Union Public Service Commission every year.

    Eligibility:

    You should be a citizen of india.

    You should complete the Graduation.

    Your age limit between 21 to 30 years.

    3 years age relaxation for obc.

    5 years age relaxation for sc/st.

    Both male and female candidates are eligible.

    You are required four attempts for General category. 7 attempts for the obc and no limit of attempts for sc/st.
