    yes, you are very much eligible for both the exams IAS and PCS.




    Eligibility criteria for IAS and PCS exam:

    Candidate should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.

    Age should be between

    21 to 30 years for General category candidates
    21to 33 year for OBC category candidates
    21 to 35 years for SC/ST category candidates

    Number of attempts:

    4 attempts for General category candidates.
    7 attempts for Obc category candidates
    14 attempts for SC/ST category candidates.


    There are 3 stage in the IAS that need to be cleared by students .

    first one is preliminary exam(it is objective type exam)
    second is main exam (question to be answer in length)
    third is personal interview

    you need to go for first step to fill the UPSC form and to send it on the official address of SSC office.


    For being eligible for the RRB and UPSC exams, you should be:
    1. Citizen of India.
    2. A graduate from recognized university with 60% marks in aggregate.
    3. Age should be within 21 years to 30 years.

    to crack pcs exam you have to collect all information regarding to the exam ,its syllabus ,dates ,pattern which i am mentioning below:

    pattren :
    Preliminary Examination
    Objective type Multiple Choice
    General Studies (Compulsory)
    One subject from the list of Optional for Preliminary.

    Main Exam
    Essay (Compulsory)
    English( Compulsory)
    Punjabi ( Compulsory)
    General Studies (Compulsory)
    II Subjects from the list of Mains Optional Subjects.(Prohibited Subject Combinations)


    Interview

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

    you should should possess a degree of bachelor in any discipline from a recognized university or institution; Provided that the candidate may be permitted to take preliminary examination while studying for his degree.

    you should not be eligible for appearing in the preliminary examination, unless he has passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, which may be specified by the Government from time to time.

    AGE LIMIT:
    21 to 35 years

    PCS stands for Punjab Civil Services Examination.





    This exam is conducted for recruiting the candidates into the following posts of Punjab :-

    PCS(EB) and Allied Services
    PCS(J)
    Distt PO's
    BDPO's
    DSP
    DS(Jail)
    Treasury Officers and
    Forestry Officers

    Eligibility Criteria for appearing this Examination is :-

    >>You should possess a degree of bachelor in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.

    >>You are not eligible for appearing in the preliminary examination, unless you passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, which may be specified by the Government from time to time.

    >>You must also have to qualify the Physical Test before appearing the mains exam.

    Minimum Height

    Men -- 5'.7"
    Women -- 5'.3"

    Men Chest Measurement

    Un-Expanded -- 33"
    Expanded -- 341/2"

    Chest measurement is not applicable to women candidates.

    Age Limits :-

    You should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and should not have attained the age of 35 years.
    Age relaxation in upper age limit, upto 10 years to the disabled persons of Punjab.

    Number of Attempts for the Examination are 4 attempts .

    You shall be a Citizen of India.

    How to Apply for the PCS Examination ??

    You can apply only on the OMR sheet provided with the "The Info Brochure " available at the reception counter of the Commission .

    Yes you can fill IAS or PCS.
    IAS conducted by UPSC examination.
    Age limit is not below 21 years. and not more then 30 years.
    Maximum attempts 4 for General, 7 for OBC, no limit for SC/ST.
    The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other
    deemed University.
    Notification Published Date is - 04/Feb/2012.
    Last Date of apply - 05/March/2012
    Examination date - 20/May/2012.

    IAS and PCS-
    Lets we talk about the IAS exam.
    IAS exam is held by the UPSC every year and
    every year a large no. of students get selected in the position of IAS and IAS is the one of the toughest exam held by the UPSC..

    IF you want to apply for the IAS OR PCS exam then you need to be graduated in any stream so if you are already graduate then you can apply for the same exams as you are eligible for it….

    PCS (Punjab Civil Services) is conducted by the Government of Punjab to recruit candidates in government offices.

    For applying for the exam you need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria that has been announced by the government. You can appear for the exam as soon you complete your bachelors degree from a recognized university , you can even take the preliminary exam while appearing for your final degree exam. You need to produce a proof of passing your degree course to be eligible to appear for the examination.

    You will not be eligible to appear for the examination unless you have passed the matriculation exam with Punjabi as your subject. If you have opted for the Punjab police service then you need to fulfill the following physical standards.

    For the post of a DSP:

    Minimum Height:

    Male: 5.7 "
    Female: 5.3 "

    Chest Measurement:

    Men -Un expanded - 33 "
    Men- Expanded- 34 1/2 "

    Your age limit must be 21 years and not more than 34 years. The upper age limit will be relaxable up to a maximum of five years for Schedules Castes and Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab. The upper age limit for widows, divorcees and certain other categories of women of Punjab will be relaxable up to 40 years.

    Every Candidate is allowed to attempt for only 4 times. Ex-Servicemen are allowed only 3 attempts. You need to be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan or a tibetian refugee.

    I am not able to understand which PCS you are referring to. There are two PCS's !!! I will give you both exams details and corresponding eligibility.

    PCS stands for Provincial Civil Services. PCS is civil based services of state governments.

    PCS is conducted by Public Service Commission by the appropriated state govt. every year once.

    You must reside in the corresponding state only to get eligible for the state which you belong. Other states students can't write for these posts.

    Syllabus :



    Another PCS :

    PCS - Punjab Civil Services

    PCS is conducted by punjab public service commission every year.

    Eligibility:

    You must have a graduation with good percent
    Final year students can also write this exams
    You must have punjabi as a mandatory lang. in your 10th

    Age limits:
    You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.

    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
    upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
    upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)

    Number of attempts:
    - General candidates: four attempts.
    - Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
    - Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

    Application fee:

    Application fee is 500rs/-

    If the candidate from a recognized university undergraduate degree must be completed with the Section.
    And between age 21 to 30 years for general category candidates should be
    21to 33 years for OBC category candidates
    SC / ST candidates 21 to 35 years
    Thenyou OMR "Information Brochure" is available on the Commission is provided with reception counter sheet can be applied.
    Including the cost of OMR sheet "information brochure" is Rs. 500 / -.
    For PCS exam Eligiblity: -

    This form applt your graduate degree must complete a recognized university.
