    Duration and Exam:

    It is a three year postgraduate programme, studied through correspondence.And on completion of the course one can become a member of the ICFAI.

    The admission to this course is based on an entrance exam. This examination basically tests a candidate's aptitude for the course.

    The course content are specified according to financial analysis. So it is essential that a person opting for this course has a natural aptitude.

    Examinations are conducted four times a year in test centres all over India.

    Fees Structure of the Course :

    The fees structure of the course is nearly 20,000 to 25,000 per year .

    Eligibility:

    Student studying in final year of his graduation or those who are employed executives. Students with professional qualifications such as CA, CWA, M.S. (Finance), M.A. (Economics), M.S. (Accounting), M. Sc. (Stats) and MBA (Finance) are eligible to get waivers from some papers of the CFA course.

    Opportunities:

    Opportunities exist in all the financial organisation like banking, insurance, the corporate sector, companies dealing in finance and leasing etc.

    CFA stands for Chartered Financial Accountant


    This institute is in US and it gives the candidates the CFA degree.

    To be eligible for register for a CFA Program, an individual must –
    1. You must have a US Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
    2. If you are in the final year of the course then you are eligible.
    3. You must have a 4 years of professional work experience

    To earn a CHARTER it takes around 4 years.

    The exams are held in three levels –

    Level I : This level is conducted in the months of June and December every year. This exam contains multiple choice questions. The topics are:
    • Financial Reporting & Analysis
    • Ethical & Professional Standards
    • Fixed Income
    • Quantitative Models
    • Economics
    • Equity Investments

    if you want to become a certified charted financial analyst , you have to complete a three year post graduate programme which can be studied through the correspondence,this exam was conducted by the (ICFAI)institute of charted financial analysts of india.afetr completion of this course you will become the member of the ICFAI,you have to give entrance exam if you want to do this course.
    eligibility
    you must have a degree to eligible for this programme , if you are in the final year of your of your degree at the time of registration than also you are eligible for this programme,
    course contents

    course was divided into four categories
    • foundation level,
    • preliminary level,
    • inter level,
    • final level,
    foundation level,
    in this level you will learn more other than commerce, it includes
    • course in the financial and management accounting,
    • essentials of tax planning,
    • basic guiding principles of investment ,
    • basic of corporate finance,
    • statistics,
    if you have completed your MBA (OR),CA (OR),ICWA,(OR)M.COM than you can go directly to the preliminary level without foundation programme.
    preliminary examination
    in this level you have two papers group-A, and group-B.
    GROUP-A
    in this group you have two papers like
    • financial accounting,
    • financial management,
    • you have to write this exam afetr 3 of the enrolment in this course
    GROUP-B
    in this group you have only one paper like
    • quantitative methods and economics.
    you have to write this exam afetr 6 of the enrolment in this course
    inter level
    in this level you have two papers group-C, and group-D.
    you have to write this exam afetr 6 months after the preliminary level.
    group-C
    in this group you have two papers like
    • economic legislation,
    • management accounting,
    group-D
    in this group you have two papers like
    • security evaluation,

    you have to write this exam afetr 12 months after the preliminary level.
    final level
    the fourth module of the examination is final level which consists of two groups
    group-E, and group-F.

    in this group you have two papers like

    • Indian financial system,
    • international financial management,
    you have to write this exams afetr 1 year of passing the inter level.
    in thsi level you will be given practical training by placing them with reputated organizations.
    the exam consists of three levels

    you have to attempt 240 questions in 6 hours of duration
    level-2
    the questions are like item set,
    you have to write 20 item sets, 10 in the morning session and 10 in the afternoon session,
    level-3
    the questions are like item set and essay format.
    this exam consists of essay format in the morning session and 10 item sets in te afternoon.

    fees structure
    if you will enrol for the LEVEL-I exam in the month of march 14 to 22 august than you have to pay $420,
    if you will enrol for the LEVEL-I exam in the month of 12th September than you have to pay $505,
    if you will register for the LEVEL-I exam in the month of march 14 than you have to pay $630,
    if you will register for the LEVEL-I exam in the month of 22 august than you have to pay $745,
    if you will register for the LEVEL-I exam in the month of 12th September than you have to pay $1005,
    march month deadline was completed you have to pay $1215 totally and $1560 if you will pay in the month of 12th September.

    Hi Good Day, Just need to know the criteria for enrolling for C.F.A. as i had done
    my graduation in B.com(Hons) hold an 8 yrs of experience in Finacial Service & Banking
    operation.

    hello gud day, i completed my graduation in B.con(pass).can i enroll for C.F.A.and i dont have any experience in any finance and banking field.which would be better for me doing a full time M.B.A in finance or i enroll for c.f.a..Please advice me asap.
