You can write NDA exam to become a part of Indian army.For writing this you must satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility:

The candidate must a age limit of 16 1/2 - 19 years of age.

For joining Indian Army,you can give exams such as NDA or IMA.

There are many options you can choose from to join Indian Army, Im Elaborating some Options For You .After completing your 12th you can Give NDA Examination Through which you can join Indian Indian Army.

You can also apply for Technical Entry scheme through which you can directly go For SSB ,through which you can join Indian Army and Navy but can't join Indian Air Force, though you have to secure very high percentage of marks in 10+2 , minmum percentage asked is 70% marks in 10+2 .

You can apply for the Combined Defence Services Examination by the UPSC (www.upsc.gov.in) for entry into Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy etc for recruitment in the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force if you are a Graduate student.If you want to go for Indian Navy then Same condition Applied here you have to be a science Students either you wont be able to apply for the same .

Applications are invited for the Technical Graduates course for grant of Permanent Commission as also Short Service Commission (Technical) Men in the Indian Army . Permanent Commission in the Indian Army University Entry Scheme is for men/ women studying in final year who are keen to join the Army.


It is also conducted by the Indian Navy (www.nausena-bharti.nic.in). An engineering graduate may join as Short Service Commissioned Officers in Technical branches of the Indian Navy.


Entry into the Indian Air Force through Short Service Commission in Technical Branch and Aeronautical Engineers Course (Permanent Commission) in the Indian Air Force could also be through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT).
