    Age Requirement

    The minimum age required for application is 18 years as of 18.01.2011 and maximum is 28. Relaxation is provided for ST (5 yr), other backward communities( 3yrs), disabled (10yrs), widows (9 yr) and some other classes.

    IBPS exam is conduct for BANK CLERK for 17 banks .

    Only those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for BANK CLERK exam.

    Also all candidate age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

    Selection process for IBPS exam-
    1) Written Test
    2)Personal Interview

    For written test you must be care about mathematics and general knowledge.

    Eligibility :
    The candidate must be between the age of 18 years to 28 years to apply for the exam. He / she must be a class 10th pass with 60% marks/12th pass with 50% marks/ a graduate.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and is conducted by IBA (Indian Banks Association) twice in a year once for clerks and other for POs

    And the eligibility for IBPS clerks is as follows;

    Your age should lie between 18 to 28 years. And there are also upper age limit relaxations for the SC/ST and OBC.

    Upto 33 years for SC/ST
    Upto 31 years for BC
    Upto 38 years for Physically Handicapped(PH) and
    Upto 33 years for ex service men

    Exam pattern for the IBPS clerk posts :



    Cut off marks for IBPS clerks :

    >>English language- 20 marks

    >>General awareness- 30 marks

    >>Computer awareness- 30 marks

    >>Quantitative aptitude- 26 marks

    >>Reasoning- 28 marks

    Remaining eligibility for the clerk exams :

    You must have 60% or above in inter or tenth(65% for tenth) then only you can write the IBPS clerk exams and if you have at least 55% in degree also eligible.

    You want to know IBPS examination Age limit.
    Age limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 28 years of age to general candidates.
    Age relaxation SC/ST is 5 years.
    Pass with 60% marks in 10th Class.
    Pass with 50% marks in Intermediate (10+2).

    Institute of Banking Personnel Selection does conduct 2 times in a year.
    Total no will be of questions is 250.
    Total time duration of 150 minutes for objective types questions.
    There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each for wrong answer in the objective type exam.

    eligibilty-

    IBPS stands for Institute of banking Personnel Selection and the exam is conducted for those candidates who wants to apply for the post of a clerical cadre or a specialist officer under 19 public sector banks in India. To apply for the exam you need to fulfill some eligibility criteria.



    You need to complete your 10th standard from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% (or) You need to Complete your 10+2 with a minimum of 60% from a recognized board (or) You need to complete your graduation. The age limit to appear for the exam is 18 years to 28 years. Age relaxations applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates. For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidates the age relaxation is 3 years , 10 years age relaxation for Disabled.

    The Exam is divided into 2 sections :

    The first is the objective type test which consists of 200 questions and each carries 1 mark . The Duration of the exam is about 150 Minutes and negative marks of 0.25 are deduced for all the wrong answers. The Second section is the descriptive type which comprises of an essay which carries 25 marks and the duration of the test is 60 Minutes.
