I think you want to study the Masters course in the IITS.So for this you have to appear in the GATE entrance examination. This examination is conducted by the Seven IIIts every year. This examination is conducted for those students who wish to join the Higher degree course as m.tech in the top engineering college of India. The duration of this course is two years. In this two years there will be total four semesters. Each semester will be the duration of six months.

To be eligible for the Gate examination one must be graduate B.E. /B.tech degree.Or any other technical equivalent degree from a recognized university.i.e. (10+2+4).If any body is not having a bachelor degree in the technical field, Then If a student have a master degree in technical/Science/Or any of the master degree related to the science subject can be eligible for the GATE examination. The Gate score will be only valid for two years so be prepare for this.If you want any more information regarding this examination then you can visit on to the official website.
