Re: What is the eligibility criterion for appearing in IAS Exam?

You have not mentioned about the educational qualifications which you possess. You can apply for the IAS exam if you are a graduate. You can be a graduate in any discipline. You should have secured the graduation from a recognized university. You should attend the exam which is mainly conducted by the UPSC. The minimum age to attend this exam is about 21 years. If you qualify in the written exam, you will be called for the personal interview and thereafter a physical fitness round.

Re: What is the eligibility criterion for appearing in IAS Exam?

There are only two important qualifications that you need to satisfy in order to appear for IAS(Indian Administrative services) exam
or CSE(Civil services exam) which can be mentioned as follows:
1)The candidate must satisfy the age limit criterion which is from 21 years to 30 years.in other words the candidate must
be between 21 to 30 years of age.
2)The candidate must be a graduate and should have completed his or her graduation from a recognized university
    from any discipline.
So, if you are able to satisfy both of these conditions, the you can appear for the exam. The examination is conducted in three
stages which can be mentioned as follows:
    1)Preliminary exams
    2)Mains exams
    3)Personal interview.
