The eligibility criteria for Tamil Nadu Comman Enterance test (TANCET) for 2011 is different for different streem student like this is different for B.TEC,MCA etc.
But for MBA you are eligible for TANCET. Because for MBA a candidate should be graduate in any stream there is no percent boundation.

For MBA/MCA: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
For M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan: degree in B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch or B.Sc/B.Pharm.
This year you are late for the exam.But,you can apply next year.

Eligibilty criteria for TANCET:

1. MBA: The candidates looking at MBA from Anna university through TANCET 2011 exam should have completed the degree program in a 10+2+3/4 years pattern or a degree in 10+3(diploma) +3/4 years pattern.

2.MCA: The eligibilty criteria for MCA is same as MBA .THe only difference is that MCA applicant must have studied mathematics at 2 level.

3. M.Tech/M.E: The eligibilty criteria for this is that the applicant have B.Tech/B.E degree in the particular discipline he is applying for. The candidates can also apply in their final year of graduation.

4.M.Plan/M.Arch: The candidate should have Bachelor's/master's degree in planning or architecture.The candidates can also apply in their final year of graduation.

TANCET is an examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu based Anna University. This is basically for those who aspire to join for masters course. Any candidate who has completed Bachelors Degree can appear for this examination. A candidate who has completed B.Com (CA) is eligible for admission for MBA course. Or they can go for MCA if they have studied mathematics up to plus two levels. Usually the TANCET examination is split into 5 sections. It contains 20 questions each.The candidates aptitude in areas like Business situation Analysis, Reading comprehension, QA, VA, DS will be tested upon. The model of the exam will be objective. Each correct answer fetches 1 mark. An incorrect answer results in ¼ of the mark deducted from the total.

MBA - Master of Business Administration

MCA - Master of Computer Application

M.E. /M. Tech/M. Arch. /M. Planning

You need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for writing the exam and they are:

For MBA:

Candidate need to have passed a 3 year Bachelor degree from a recognized university.

For MCA:

Candidate need to have passed a 3 year graduate degree with Mathematics/Statistics as subjects.

For M.E. /M. Tech/M. Arch. /M. Planning:
