    Dear
    There is no qualification for Deputy collector because this is the IAS ranking officer posts but some time senior PCS officer have this post.
    if you want become deputy collector you have to try for IAS or PCS exam.
    One IAS exam is conducted by the upsc :
    In every years for form is coming in your district head post office.

    for PCS this exam is conducted by the state public service commission.
    after clearing this exam you become a PCS officer this post is the B Class officer on an district.
    But IAS rank have A class officer in district or region level.
    for these both exam you have good command on subject which you want to choose in your main exam.
    if you have good command on your subject you definately cracked this exams. after that you become IAS or PCS officer.

    Candidates, who are interested in applying for the post of Deputy Collector must be between the age group of 21 and 35 years. (For SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC(OBCM), BCM and Destitute Widows of all castes. For other category candidates the maximum age limit is 30 yrs.

    Educational Qualification The candidates should have a degree from any university incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or any other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or any university under section 3 of the University Grants commission Act, 1956.

    for the deputy collector
    the graduation will required and qualify the state Public service commission exam
    for optional subject, it depend upon you.
    always choose your core subject for the same.

    The eligibility criteria required to become Deputy Collector is the graduate with more than 60% marks and age should be in between 21 year to 25 year. First you have to give the written exam which is to be conducted by the UPSC every year at the national level. According to your interest you can select the any one subject.

    I finished my B.E with 60 % wil i be able to write the ias exam wat is the terns and conditions plz which sub wil be easy for writing the exam how should i apply for ias exam

    I am doing engineering (B.E.) in computer science stream , I am eligible for collector exam or not.
