    if you are graduate in any stream of recognised indian university with ugc,you can apply in indian civil services. you can choose two subject,and the one another is necessary to you in exam

    About UPSC Civil services examination -

    Firstly, UPSC Conducts the civil services examination twice in a year.

    And to apply for UPSC civil services examination, you need to passed in your graduation. Because graduation is minimum eligiblity to apply for UPSC civil services examination.

    And your age should between 21 to 30 years, Only then you are eligible to apply for this examination. the upper age relaxation is only applicable for SC, ST and for OBC candidates. The Notification is generally published in the month of feburary, The notification was updated in the UPSC official website as well as in Employment newspaper.

    So, please keep visit the official websites for details regarding UPSC examination.

    The UPSC civil services examination are held in 2 stages - Preliminery exam And Main exams.

    And after clear both the examination, you are eligible to appear for Final Interview. The Preliminery examination is known as CSAT.     The basic criteria for IAS exam or better called as civil services exam is a graduation degree from a recognised univ , age limit should be between 21- 30 years , candidate should be indian and also no of attempts are 4 for general , 7 for obcs and no restriction for sc/st.     dear friend,IAS or ICS exams has 3 stages:
    firstreliminary exams:then main exam if you clear the prelims :and the last is interview,if you clear the mains.you must be an indian citizen with minimum 21 and max.30 yrs of age with graduate in any stream from a recognized university.in prelims you now have 2 papers of 200 marks each:i.e.one of general studies and the other is the newly introduced CSAT pattern i.e.aptitude test:the mains include eight papers including 4 papers of those subjects which you choose as optional ones,one of general awarenessne of any indian language to choose from the given list,one of english,one of current g.s ,and one essay paper:interviews are held according to your marks scored in written exams,which leads to final selections.NO.OF ATTEMPTS:for general candidates-4,for obc,sc,st 7.

    Dear ,the eligibility criteria for the UPSC exams are based on following factors:
    1- nationality- indian
    2-age - 21-30 ,and upper age limit is relaxable ,in case of SC/ ST-5 YRS
    OBC - 3 YRS
    3-must be a graduate

    To apply you can do it online by filling the form , or either by filling up a hard copy application form and sending it to the commission.

    Civil Service Examination was conducted by UPSC every year.

    Even final year of a graduate degree may also eligible to apply for this examination and there is no minimum marks for this examination.

    There is no specific graduation for this examination and any graduate can apply for this entrance examination.

    For this examination,the candidate age should between 21 yrs to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing.

    Relaxation in age limits is given to various reserved categories like.....OBC/SC/ST candidates.

    For this examination,the general candidate can attempt four times,OBC candidate can attempt seven times and No limit for SC/ST candidates.

    The minimum qualification for Civil Service exam-
    Graduation in any discipline.
    And the minimum age -
    General candidates-21 to 30
    SC/ST Candidates-21 to 35
    OBC candidates -21 to 33 and there will be also relaxation in upper age for other backward minor categories .

    Upsc exams are conducted by every year. It is for many government posts like ias, ips and so on. The minimum eligibility is: post graduation and age limit is 21 to 30 years. You apply and get a government post. All the best

    Firstly talking about qualification required to appear in the civil Service exam-
    Many students have confusion in the qualification required to Civil Service Exam Some Think 12th and Some think Master degree.
    So here i will clear there confusion-
    Neither 12th and neither master Degree is minimum qualification.
    The correct one is Graduation.
    yes Graduation is the minimum qualification to require to appear in Civil service exam.
    And now talking about AGE-
    FOR GENERAL CANDIDATES-21 to 30

    Details of Civil Service Examination :

    The candidate should be citizen of india , the candidate should be qualified for the under graduation with 60% percentage of marks in recognized university . The age limit of candidate should be 21 to 30 years the relaxation period is given to the st/sc ,obc and handicapped candidates up to 5 years . Every candidate are eligible for 4 attempt at examination .

    The Candidate have to face three exams such as :

    Preliminary exam
    Main exam
    And Interview

    Date of Notification :
    Date of Notification : 19th February
    Last date of Submission of the application : 21at March
    Date of Examination : 29th October


    The candidate should regular and general reading of books and news papers . There also know the current affairs of the country . There should having efficient time planing .

    Civil services examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year.The exam is consist of two stages 1) Preliminary , 2) Main.The candidates who crack the Preliminary exam can appear in Main exam and after cracking both the stages the candidate is eligible to appear in Final interview.

    recruiting bright and intelligent officers for various goverment
    services like IAS, IPS and IFS.
    First of all you must hold a graduation degree in any discipline
    from a recognised institute of India.
    You are also eligible to appear in the preliminary exam if you are
    in the final year of the graduation and are awaiting results.
    You must have also attained a age of 21 years as it is the minimum age

    Civil Services in India are conducted by a commission called Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).
    There are a no. Of civil services exams conducted by the UPSC like:
    1. IAS: Indian Administrative Services. This exam is conducted every year for the post of Administrtative officers in the Indian government.

    2. IPS: Indian Police Service. This exam is conducted every year for the post of officers in the Indian Police departments.

    3. IES: Indian Engineering Services. This exam is conducted for the engineers for employment in the Indian departments, railways, roadways, etc.. For the posts of engineers and employees in the Indian government and departments.

    4. IFS: Indian Foreign Service. This exam is conducted for the posts of foreign officer and related posts in the Indian Government.

    5. IFS: Indian Forest Service. This exam is also conducted for the posts and employees in the Indian forestry and wildlife departments.

    The notification for these entrances comes generally in february in the leading newspapers and UPSC website.

    Also you have to be a graduate in any discipline to be eligible for that.
    Also you must be 21 to 30 years of age. There is 5 to 10 years age relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates.
    The attempt criteria is that you can attempt these exams maximum 4 times for general candidates, 7 times for OBC and 9 times for SC/ST candidates.

    The eligibility criteria of UPSC Civil services examinations :
    the candidates must have graduation degree of a recognized university.
    For Civil services examination Arts ,Commerce ,Science and Engineering graduates are eligible to apply.

    The examination which comes under Civil Services are IAS .IPS and IFS...

    Age limit : Minimum 21 years to 30 years.

    Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.

    The civil services exam is conducted in two steps :
    CSAT exam
    Mains exam.

    And mains qualified are called for Interview round.

    Number of attempts allowed :
    For gen 4
    For OBC 7
    and Sc/St no limit.
