Re: What is the eligibility criteria for NEET exam? Tell me about the reservations in this exam? How much rank should I get to have a medical seat in Indian Medical colleges through NEET Exam being an OC Male aspirant?

    Dear friend,
The NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).Medical Council of India (MCI) has decided to conduct the All India Level Common Entrance Examinations for admission to Medical Under Graduate (NEET-UG), Post Graduate (NEET-PG) and Super Specialty (NEET-SP) courses from the academic year 2012-2013.

MY friend if you want to do MBBS then there are 42,000 (Approximately) seats for Under Graduate (MBBS / BDS) Medical courses.

SO you need to have rank under 15,000 if you want to have a MBBS seat in any college. But if you want govt. college then you need to have rank under 10,000.

Like every govt. institute has reservations for OBC,SC/ST.

So in MBBS govt. colleges there is 27% reservation for OBC,10% for SC,10 % for ST candidates.

    Eligibility Criteria:

1.You should have 12th class pass certificate, minimum of 50% (General category) and 40% (Reserved category) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board before admission.

    best of lk...
