Re: What is the eligibility criteria for LLB course?

For the LLB course a candidate from any background can apply. So even candidates from science background can apply. You need to have completed at least 12th standard. The minimum percentage required will vary for each university. Also for most of the institutes there will be an entrance exam. For most of the exams the minimum requirement is 45%. Also for the other institutes it will b on merit. Since your score is low you may not be able to secure admission for the same. You have the option to take correspondence course from IGNOU. Else you need to look for other options.

Re: What is the eligibility criteria for LLB course?

There are basically two ways one can take up LLB. One is the 5 year LLB course after 12th. Another is the 3 year LLB course after a degree. If your aim is to go for an LLB course then joining LLB after 12th is ideal. When thinking logically it is better to join LLB after 12th, as you will not lose one year with 3 years in degree and 3 years in LLB after degree. The basic eligibility to join an LLB course after 12th is to have more than 45% of marks in the board exam in most of the Universities and colleges. If you are planning to join in any of the top colleges like NALSAR, NLSIU or any other biggies then you must have higher percentage of marks. You will also need to qualify in the Common entrance exam for Law.

Re: What is the eligibility criteria for LLB course?

To become a lawyer, LLB is the best course And after 12th you are eligible to apply for 5 year LLB course in different colleges and university, but to apply for LLB course, you have to scored minimu 45% marks in your 12th exams, but you are scored less than 45% marks, so i think you are not eligible to get admission in LLB Course. To get admission in LLB course, you have to appear for entrance exams, many colleges conducts the entrance exams and after clear the entrance exam, you are eligible to apply for LLB course. So, minimum 45% marks are compulsory, if you are interested in LLB course.

and in order to appear for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) so as to get admission into any of the National Law universities one needs to have not less than 50 % marks in aggregate ($5% for minorities and disabled candidates) in ones high school / equivalent.

Re: What is the eligibility criteria for LLB course?

You can either do LLb through 5 year integaratd LLB programme directly after 10+2.
Most of the reputed institutes are giving admissions ti this programme based on the CLAT score , but to appear in CLAT entrance test
you need atleast 50% marks in 12th examination.
So you will not be able to join this 5 yr. integrated course.
The only option left with you you is to go for a graduation degree and secure atleast 50% marks in it. Based on the graduation percentage you can make to some institute.

LLB courses can be done in to ways ,either you can join after 12th or after your graduation ,if you go for LLB after 12th then you have a 5 year course and if you go for LLB after graduation then it will be a 3 year course .The minimum qualification to join for the course is 12th pass out with 45% marks or 50% marks for those who join after graduation .
dear friend since you have not scored minimum mark of 45% you are not eligible to do LLB courses in good colleges because now almost all the colleges conducts entrance exams for the selection of candidates so , you may not be allowed even to apply for the entrance exam .I suggest you to do this as a correspondence course or you can try for some other courses ....

YOU SHOULD TRY FOR LLB AFTER YOUR GRADUATION.
IF YOU ARE KEENELU INTERESTED IN LAW YOU CAN TAKE UP POLITICAL SCIENCE AND PSYCHOLOGY AS THE OPTIONAL SUBJECTS IN YOU DEGREE COURSE.
FOR THAT YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR ATREAM TO ARTS.
YOU CAN OPT FOR LLB FROM ANY RESPECTIVE STREAM.
BUT THE MENTIONS SUBJECTS WILL GIVE YOU THE GENERALL IDEA ABOUT LAW.
IF YOUR COLLEGE OFFERS LAW AS AN APPLIED COMPONENT. GO FOR IT.

    Hi dear,

You have 2 options : either you choose to study Law after 12 th wherein it will take you 5 yrs course which will conclude as an LLB grad.Or, you study for Law after any degree & it will take you 3 yrs to complete your LLB.So, logically speaking it is better to join after 12th ,as you save on a year's period. The minimum requiremnts in an average University /college is 45 % in 12 th.But if you plan to join NALSAR /NLSIU & other biggies in the filed then you will also be expected to give the Common Entrance Exam for Law which i think has begun in effect from this yr onwards.GUD LUC to you buddy ........

    thanks

LLB course is a very vast course. Either you can do LLB after 12th or you can also do it after Graduation.
If you'll do it after 12th then you'll have to go for 5 years LLB course and after graduation you'll have to go for only 3 years LLB course.
But minimum you require 50% in 12th or graduation and from a recognised college or university.

    good luck..

    hi,
Legal profession is one of the growing and lucrative professions all over the world. It is one of the most adventurous as well as exciting career.
    Lawyers are extremely reputed people.

Minimum qualification to go for a course in law (LLB) is 10+2,
also candidates from any stream can apply.

The marks in 12th required will depend on the university you want to study in.
In most of the institutes/universities,selection is on the basis of an entrance test.

The minimum requirement for these exams is 45-50% in 12th.
As you have mentioned that you have scored 41% in 12th,your chances of securing admission in good college is low.

You should either look for some other career options or you should go for law course through correspondence.

    Best of luck

Re: What is the eligibility criteria for LLB course?

    HI DEAR......

    LLB :-

LLB STANDS FOR BACHELOR FOR LAW AND THE COURSE CAN BE DONE IN 2 TYPES AS PER OUR CONVENIENCE .THEY ARE

    -->>ONE IS OF 3 YEAR LLB PROGRAM(AFTER GRADUATION)AND

-->>ANOTHER IS OF 5 YEARS LLB PROGRAM(AFTER INTERMEDIATE)

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :-

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATION :-

-->>The Minimum aggregate required is 50% marks in 10+2.

-->>And for SC/ST/OBC candidates an aggregate of 45% marks in 10+2.

-->>Age should not be more than 20 years.

    ENTRANCE EXAM PATTERN :-

The exam will be conducted for 200 marks for duration of 2 hours.

In exam the questions will be asking from these 6 parts. They are

-->>Language Ability conducted for 50 Marks

-->>Legal Reasoning conducted for 30 Marks

-->>Aptitude of Learning conducted for 30 Marks

-->>General Knowledge conducted for 30 Marks

-->>General Science conducted for 30 marks

-->>Social Studies conducted for 30 Marks

SO YOU HAVE ONLY ONE OPTION NOW BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WRITE EXAM WITH PERCENTAGE OF 41% MARKS IN 12TH.SO ITS BETTER TO DO YOUR GRADUATION COURSE AND COMPLETE THE COURSE WITH MINIMUM PERCENTAGE OF 50% SO THAT YOU CAN BE ELIGIBLE TO WRITE LLB EXAM.

    GOOD LUCK.....!!!!!!

LLB course which is actually 3 years law course which is a bachelors course of law for which all the graduates from different streams are eligible to get admissions.

So by this you are also eligible after completing you B.Tech and also MBA.

there are various entry schemes for this course.
