    hii there......

for govt. jobs or reputed private colleges generally there is an NET exam...conducted by the govt..
you have to crack that succesfully then, you should be selected for that.....
and in qualification eligibility you should have an aggregate of 55% or more in all.....

    and..

there is no such age limit for that...any person having age 19 or more is selected....

    best of luckk...

eligibility criterio depend upon the type of college. i.e technical or non technical. as well as govt college or private college.
in private college of technical studies such as b.tech,
-good college have post graduate candidates(in technical branch) as their preference.
-but for teachers in 1st year of btech(private),bsc, msc (PCM) can also be hired for mathematics/physics/chemistry subject
    in govt college
in lieu with post graduation, nettscored is also complusary.after that if you perform well in interviews. then only u get hired as lecturere post

The Eligibility Criteria for lectureship in private colleges is not same at all places. All things is depend on colleges. Some private colleges takes the lecturer on the basis of master degree and some colleges take the lecturer on the basis of Phd.So first complete your graduation after the higher Secondary. After that you should complete the Master degree in your field. Then you can join some Government college on the basis of Master Degree or you can join the private college as a lecturer. Some Entrance Exam also happens in India for Lectureship is the Private colleges and Government Colleges.NET is one of them.NET stands for National Entrance Teacher Exam for lectureship in colleges.
So if you have completed your graduation from the recognized university with 55% you can apply for the National Entrance Teacher Exam. After clearing this Exam you can apply for the lectureship in any college that can be private or government. So don't wait and apply for the same.If you have Phd. degree then you can get the good post in college like Head of Department,Head of Institute,Principal of Institute and many more post of college can you get.
    THANK YOU
