    K.C.E.T --- KARNATAKA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST

    To apply for the KCET you must fulfill the below ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ..

    For any classes like

    A

    B

    C..etc.,


    You must pass the KANNADA TEST

    You must have passes the examination of 10th and 12th from Karnataka

    You should have a Mother Tongue of Kannada

    You must be INDIAN

    You must have a Graduation from a Recognized university

    [COLOR="rgb(154, 205, 50)"]sir KCET stands for karnataka common entrance exam , it conducted to admit students into medical, engineering and architecture courses
    eligibility :
    for engineering candidate must complete 10+2 with minimum 45% marks with maths, physics, chemistry
    for medical candidate must complete 10+2 with minimum 50% marks with biology, physics, chemistry
    for architecture candidate must complete 10+2 with minimum 50% marks with maths, physics, chemistry
    for architecture candidate must also appear for NATA and must obtain 40% marks
    the minimum age eligibility is 17 years
    and maximum age eligibility is 25 years

    KCET 2013 Eligibility Criteria

    The KCET 2013 Eligibility Criteria will decide which candidates are eligible to study in Government, Private Un-Aided Minority/Non-Minority and Govt. Aided colleges after giving KCET 2013.

    KCET - Karnataka common entrance test

    this is common entrance test taken by Karnataka Govt. for the admission of engineering as well as architecture.

    criteria required for the engineering:
    • you should pass 12th with physics,chemistry,biology,maths.
    • you require 50% as belongs to general category.
    • you require 45% as belongs other category.
    criteria for architecture :
    • you should pass 12th with mathematics as a subject and score 50% as belongs to general category.
    • if you belongs to other category like schedule cast/ schedule tribe.
    • you must qualify NATA with 40% marks.

    The criteria is different for students from various streams like

    [COLOR="rgb(72, 61, 139)"]For Medical/ Dental [/COLOR]:- One should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English,Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB and 40% for SC/ST/OBC students.


    [COLOR="rgb(153, 50, 204)"]For Architecture[/COLOR] :- One should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics and a minimum of 50% marks in all the subjects and 45% for SC/ST/OBC students.

    KCET Stands for KARNATAKA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST….And this Test conducted by Karnataka government for the Admission of engineering as well as architecture
    Eligibility for Engineering:

    **Candidate must complete 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

    **Must get 50% in 12th standard it is for general students

    **45% For other category students

    Criteria for Architecture:
    **Candidate must complete 12th standard with mathematics

    **general students must gain 50%

    **other category students gain 45%

    **Candidate must qualify NATA with 40% marks
