NDA - National Defence Academy.

The exam is conducted by UPSC and it is held twice in a year.If you want to apply for the NDA exam you must eligible for it.

Eligibility for NDA exam 2011:

1. The candidates must be a citizen of India.
2. The candidates must be a unmarried male candidate.
3. The candidates must have a age limit of 16 1/2 - 19 years.

Education Qualification:

For Army Wing of NDA:

The candidate must have passed 12th class with 10th and +2 pattern in school education conducted by state education board.

For Air Force and Naval Wings:

The candidates must have passed the +2 with physics and mathematics as in their subjects conducted by the state education.

The candidates must be physically fit while appearing for the exam as per the council for admission of NDA exam.

Yes, You are eligible to apply for NDA Army Wing After 12Th, Because for this, You have to complete your 12th Class pass of 10+2 or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. You are eligible for indian army but you can't join through NDA since for NDA only science students are eligible. Separate exams where conducted by the Army for that you have to keep on checking employment newspaper. After completing graduation you can join indian army through CDS exam.
