Eligibility Criteria for HCS :-

The applicant must have a complete the graduate degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification to the degree of bachelor of Science,Arts,Commerce and bachelor of any technical subject or their recognized equivalent qualification.

The applicant age should not be less than 21 yrs and not more than 35 yrs on 1st January of the year of examination and upper age limit is relaxable upto 40 years for SC/ST and BC class of Haryana.

The applicant can apply on application form by depositing the one hundred fifty(150/-) from of treasury receipt of crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank draft in favour of the secretary Haryana Public Service Commission,Chandigarh and Seventy five(75/-) for SC/ST and BC haryana alone.

The entrance examination was divided into two parts : written examination in compulsory and Optional subjects 2)Viva-voca

As you know that there is a Union Public Service Commission which conducts its exams for the Indian Defence Services and civil services like IAS, IPS, NDA, CDS, etc..at the All India Level, similiarly The Haryana State Civil Services Exam is conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission for better career and prospects in the Haryana defence services and government departments for the proper functioning of the Haryana Government.

To be eligible for these exams you have to be atleast a bachelor degree holder from any discipline from a recognisded university. There is no minimum percentage criteria.
Regarding the age the minimum age criteria is from 21 to 35 years. For the SC/ST/OBC category there is an age relaxation of upto 5 years.
