Re: What is the eligibility criteria for Bank PO exam?

The minimum age for most banks to join as a Probationary Officer is 21 years. However the maximum age limit varies. Like for private banks it varies from 25 years to 28 years. Like for ICICI bank it is 25 years. For nationalised banks it is 30 years. In nationalised banks there is concession for OBC and SC/ST category. Also relaxations are provided to physically handicapped candidates too. It varies from 2 to 3 years. The maximum can be 5 years. You need to check the notifications carefully for the same. Apply only if you are eligible for the same.

Re: What is the eligibility criteria for Bank PO exam?

In India, every year various banks carry out recruitment process for the post of Probationary Officer. The recruitment process of these banks generally includes entrance test and personnel interview. Each bank will have certain eligibility criterion which each candidate will have to full fill before submitting an application for the entrance test. The common eligibility requirements for Bank PO exam include age, education qualification and computer literacy. The candidates who are citizens of India are only eligible to apply. The age of the candidate must be in-between 21 to 30 years as for being eligible to apply for the bank some banks even set the upper age limit to even 28 years. Few of these banks offer age relaxation to candidates from backward community. Candidates who have a graduation from any subject stream with more than 60 % of marks are only eligible for Bank PO exam. Recently most of the banks select candidates who have fair knowledge in computers.
