The minimum age for most banks to join as a Probationary Officer is 21 years. However the maximum age limit varies. Like for private banks it varies from 25 years to 28 years. Like for ICICI bank it is 25 years. For nationalised banks it is 30 years. In nationalised banks there is concession for OBC and SC/ST category. Also relaxations are provided to physically handicapped candidates too. It varies from 2 to 3 years. The maximum can be 5 years. You need to check the notifications carefully for the same. Apply only if you are eligible for the same.

Bank Po exam.

Eligibility for Bank PO:

1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

I have secured 68 % in 12th and 54% with graced in BSC graduation but I am eligible for giving Common written exam. If i will secure good marks in Common written test. Then whether I will be eligible to give interview for any of the public banks which are included in CME. Will there be any effect of my marks in interview. I am 28 years old. Eligibility of the bank po examination :

The candidate should be qualified in under graduation with 60% percentage of marks in any stream recognized university . The age limit of the candidate should be 21 to 28 years . The relaxation period is given sc/st and obc for 3 years and 5 years for widow and handicapped candidate . General candidate may write the examination for 4 attempts and 7 attempts for the sc/st and obc candidates . generally the bank give preference to the ca, icwa and mba graduates . So you can learn extra courses like computer course and typewriting courses . and submit the certificates are in the interview it will secure you job opportunities .

The IBPS conducts examinations in two units they are Bank PO`s & Clerks. The eligibility for the BANK PO`s is as follows
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE PO`S
1.The person`s age must be in between 21-30 years
2.The person should have completed his graduation with a minimum of 55%.

As to say you that the IBPS PO`s is completed 0n 18-09-2011, you can apply for the Clerks .The eligibility for the clerks are as follows, they are
