Re: What is the eligibility criteria for attempting UPSC Exams? Is a computer science student eligible for UPSC exam?

Union Public Service Commission conducts various exams for recruiting candidates in departments of Indian government. The basic educational qualification for attending in UPSC exam is a graduation. The graduate degree certification ought to be from an institution that has recognition. If you completed graduation in Computer Science, you can appear for the UPSC examination. Candidates with an age of 21 can appear for this examination. The maximum age allowed for a candidate to write the examination is 30 years. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates. For Civil Service Examination, Civil Service Aptitude Test and a main exam will be there. After qualifying in the main exam, you have to attend a personal interview.
