    To appear almost all UPSC exam,candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.

    If you have completed 12th class with PCM stream then you can appear for NDA and SCRA exam.If not you can appear for NDA exam,but you will eligible for Indian Army post only.

    NDA stands for National Defense Service,this exam notification releases twice in a year i.e NDA-I exam Notification release in the month of December and exam will held in the month of April.NDA-II exam notification will release in the month of May and Exam will held in the month of August.

    Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
    Candidate should completed 12th class with PCM stream in order to eligible for Indian Air Force/Indian Navy.
    Candidate complete 12th class with other than PCM stream,then he will eligible only for Indian Army.
    Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

    SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) examination is conducted by UPSC every year once.
    Eligibility criteria for SCRA examination:
    Candidate should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from any recognized university.
    Age should be between 17 to 21 years.

    UPSC stands for Union Public Service Comission and it is Conducts various examination every year and it will conducts various examinations like Civil services examination, NDA Examination, SCRA Examination, IES Examination, IFS Examination and Many other Examination.

    If you have completed your 12Th examination form a recognised board with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects, then you are eligible to apply for both these examination :

    >> NDA Examination
    >> SCRA Examination.

    NDA Examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your 12th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects. This examination is Conducted for the recruitment of these 3 wings of NDA :

    >> Army wings
    >> Naval wings
    >> Air force wings

    If you have completed your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects, then you are eligible to apply for all these 3 wings, And if you have not study these subjects in your 12th examination then you are only apply for Army wings.

    To apply for NDA Examination you must be medically fit and you have to attained the age of 16.5 years and Not attained the age of 19 years. The selection are based on written test, Personal Interview and Medical test. If you cracked all these stages then you are eligible for NDA Training.

    You are also apply for SCRA Examination, SCRA Stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices and to apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Final year appearing candidates are also apply for SCRA Examination. To apply for this examination you have to attained the age of 17 years and not attained the age of 21 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    Eligible candidates may apply for Both these examination Online, If you are Interested then please apply for NDA (I) Examination next year.

    The Notification of NDA (I) Examination will be published on 31/Dec/2011 and the last date of apply for this examination 30/Jan/2012 and the examination will be held on 15/April/2012.

    UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) is the major examining body that conducts all the Government Inst entrance exams in India as you are completed your 12th standard these are the variety of fields that you can apply for UPSC entrance exams.

    NDA ( National Defense Academy )


    It is one of the entrance conducted by the UPSC board every year for the young aspirants who want to pursue their career in Defense services and NDA allows applications for 3 wings of it namely

    - Indian Army
    - Air Force
    - Navy

    Eligibility :

    - Army : you must have passed your 12th from any recognized board
    - Air Force and Navy : you must have passed your 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects.

    - Your age must have min 16 1/2 years and maximum 19 years.

    SCRA ( Special Class Railway Apprentice )


    SCRA is one of the post at IRMEE ( Indian Railways Mechanical and Electrical Engineering ) departments.

    Eligibility :

    - you must have completed your 12th standard from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects.

    - you must have minimum 17 years and maximum 21 years of age, Upper age relaxation is accepted if you belong to special category.

    So these two are the UPSC exams that you are eligible to sit with your 12th standard qualification so dude choose the right one and apply for it and for any further information leave your message here.

    UPSC Stands for Union Public Service Commission and UPSC conducts various examination every year.There is a top examination Civil Service examination,Engineering Service Examination,SCRA examination,NDA Examination,CDS examination,IFS examination.

    But according to your qualification you are only eligible for NDA Examination and SCRA examination.

    NDA :- National Defence Academy examination.

    SCRA :- Special Class Railway Apprentices examination.

    UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2012 :

    Date of Notification Application /Last date for receipt of applications : 25.2.2012 to 26.03.2012 (Offline)
    Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 15th June, 2012

    Eligibility :

    Minimum academic qualifications required is A degree in Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent.
    M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subject acceptable for certain Services/posts only.
    Age Limits : 21-30 years as on 01.08.2012.

    UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2012 :

    Date of Notification: 24th March, 2012 - /Last date for receipt of applications
    Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 17th June 2012 (One day)

    Eligibility :

    Minimum academic qualifications needed is an M.B.B.S. Degree.
    If you are appearing at the final M.B.B.S. Examination also eligible for this.
    Age Limits : You must be below 32 years

    National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I) 2012 :

    Date of Notification/Last date for receipt of applications : 30th January 2012
    Date of Commencement of examination and its duration :15th April 2012

    Eligibility :

    Minimum academic qualifications :

    (i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
    (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
    Age Limits : 16 ½ - 19 years only are applicable.

    Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination 2012 :

    Date of Notification : 01.11.2011
    Last date for receipt of applications : 21.11.2011
    Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 29/01/2012 (One day)

    Eligibility :

    Minimum academic qualifications : Intermediate or Senior Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Mathematics and at least one of the subject Physics & Chemistry with Ist or IInd Division marks .
    Age Limits : 17-21 years only .

    Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination I 2012 :

    Date of Notification : 29 October 2011
    Last date for receipt of applications : 28 November 2011
    Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 12 FEBRUARY 2012(One day)

    Eligibility :

    Minimum academic qualifications :
    (i) For IMA and OTA: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
    (ii) For Naval Academy: B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
    (iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

    UPSC Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2012 :

    Date of Notification : 19th March 2012
    Last date for receipt of applications : 25th April 2012
    Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 09th July, 2012

    Eligibility :

    Minimum academic qualifications : A Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or forestry or Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent.

    Age Limits : 21-30 years .


    So as per this provided info, you are eligible for NDA and Special Class Railway Apprentice End.


    So apply for any of these two exams and make your career.

    The union public service commission is conducted for civil service examination.

    Total no of exam conduct by UPSC is:

    *NDA Examination : minimum 12th standard
    *SCRA Examination : Minimum 12th standard
    *Civil Services Examination
    *IES Examination
    *CDS Examination
    *IFS Examination

    Remaining four are Graduation is must.

    The eligibility criteria:

    -->You must be having a graduation degree in any field from any recognized university.
    -->If you are appearing for the final year exams of graduation then also you are eligible to appear in the examinations.
    -->Your age must be between 21 to 30 years.There is some relaxation in the age for the reserved categories. For OBC it is 3 years and For SC/ST it is 5 years.

    Nunber of attemps:

    -->For general category students they have only 4 number of attempts.
    -->For OBC category students they have only 7 number of attempts.
    -->For SC/ST category students they have no limit on number of attempts.

    Tips for Preparation:


    -->You have to read daily news paper to improve your GK ,don’t miss news paper ,read Year Books. Work on your basic subjects using NCERT as reference.
    -->Work on Hindu paper make few notes daily form this paper.
    -->You can attend a good coaching classes,if required.
    Read only one good magazine from the competitive exam magazine.
    -->It is a long procedure , so always keep working on time & be active.

    (The Prelims is going to be held on 20th May,2012 and the Mains is going to be held on 5th October,2012)

    The UPSC exam which you can write with a qualification of completing +@ are:

    • NDA (National Defence Academy)
    • SCRA (Special Class Railway Apperentices)



    NDA exam is conducted twice in a year as NDA I and NDA II.This exam is conducted for candidates to join in defence forces of India such as:
    • Indian Army
    • Indian Navy
    • Indian Air Force

    For applying for this exam the candidate need to satisfy the eligibility conditions and they are:

    Eligibility Needed:
    • Candidate need to be a citizen of India
    • Candidate should be a citizen of India
    • Candidate should have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years
    • For joining in Indian army you need to have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education.
    • For joining in Indian Navy or Air Force you need to have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects,

    Based on your Qualification you can apply for the post which are in UPSC.

    As you are a 12th passed candidate you can only apply for the post for which 12th Qualification is inuf.

    NDA is one among the exams conducted by UPSC for 12th Qualified Candidate .

    If you have completed your Garduation then you have many posts in UPSC.

    As you have completed your 12th you can apply for NDA exam.

    To apply for NDA exam conducted by UPSC:-

    UPSC is responsible for the conductance of nda exam for the civil service.the elgibility is that
    you should be the citizen of india
    your age should be 16 1/2 to 19 years
    you should be unmarried if you will be married in the middle then you will be disqualified.
    for the army wing you should complete 12th with pcm as your subjects
