    What is the Eligibility Criteria for Airport Customs Officer Exams? Can I write the Exam if am in Final Year of my Graduation?

    Respected Sir,
    This is maharajan konar would like you to ask my queries about the custom services jobs in airports.I am a last year student doing grad in mumbai.I want you to ask that a final year student can appear for custom exams.when are the custom exams held.from where would i get the study material for custom exams.is there any related website for it.wat is the age limit for appearing custom exams.from where will i get a full detailed information about it.

    If you want to become a custom officer then you must qualifying the civil services exams and this is conducted by the UPSC.

    Eligibility ;

    You must be an Indian.

    you must have a graduation in any field is the required qualification.

    you have 55% marks in the graduation level.

    you agelimit is 21 years --30 years

    This exam will include two sections- Preliminary exam and main Exam.

    It is mandatory to clear the first level to become eligible for attending main level.

    PHYSICAL TEST

    PERSONNEL INTERVIEW.

    So many books there for UPSC exams in market

    So, choose best one and prepair well

    Airport custom officer is a good field that you can do..

    it requires minimum graduation from recognized university.

    if you are in final you need to complete the degree first.

    Then go for this.

    To become an Airport Customs Officer, applicant has to take UPSC examination. The eligibility criteria for UPSC examination is:

    1. Candidate should be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan.
    2. Age criteria: the minimum age for applying is 21 years and the maximum age is 30 years on 1st august, on the year of examination.
    3. Age relaxation: for ST/SC: 5 years
    for OBCs: 3 years
    for defence personnels: 5 years
    4. Date of birth certificate: only matriculation certificate will be accepted.
    5. Educational Qualification: Applicant must have a degree recognised by central government of India.
    6. Note that applicants who have appeared for an examination which will render them qualified are also eligible for preliminary examinaton. But applicant will have to produce the proof of passing the
    prerequisite examination at the time of mains.
    7. Number of attempts are restricted to:
    General: 4 attempts
    OBCs: 7 attempts
    ST/SC: Unlimited

    Hence, you are eligible for preliminary examination but you should have your final years scores by the mains examination.

    The exam held for custom officer at airport is conducted by civil service comission held by UPSC

    Following are the points for the eligibility:
    1) Your graduation must be completed with at least 55% score
    2) Age must be between 21-30 years
    3) You must qualify both the levels of UPSC exam

    Yes,you can give your final year graduation exam but you should prefer to attempt UPSC after your graduation because UPSC requires a lot of preparation which can't be done simultaneously with final year studies.
