Re: What is the eligibility to appear in Bank Exams?

    hai,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
dear bank exams are very simple to get any kind of bank jobs , this notification which was given by me is entirely wrong firstly bank exams are conducted for the selection purpose , selection for the merits who can perform the work more intelligently. Indian banking sector includes private banks,
    nationalized banks,
    and also specialized banks.

you have to do the service in any one of these banks after the selection through the merit...
    eligibility requirement
*commercial banks as well as cooperative banks will advertise on various vacancies , you will come to know through the news paper, after the entrance you will get the job in the respected fields.
remember if you are a 1st class degree holder you will get the direct officers post inn the bank, and you have to know that eligibility differs from bank to bank, degree is the main qualification required.
*if you have an interest in the reserve bank of India than you have to attempt the exam which will conducted by reserve bank service board.and your age must be 21-26 years .
*foreign and private banks select the respected candidates through merit basis.
nationalized and state banks conduct the entrance exams to select the candidates.you must have 18-26 years of age.
    banking patterns.
every bank in the world follows the certain rules to select the candidates to fill the vacancies like
reserve bank of India select the candidates through the mental ability test, and through the communication skills.
foreign banks and private sector banks select the candidates from IIMS, university of Mumbai, university of Delhi, Xavier etc,,,
you must attempt the bank entrance exams for the state banks and nationalized banks.. you have to give the personal interview after your entrance exam.
so dear , please be prepared for the exam. prepare for the interview.
dear if you want to get selected in the clerical post you must have 10+20as your basic qualification. and your age must be 18-26 years of age
    duration
duration of the exam is 2 hours and you must have to write the objective type exams which carries 100 marks.
    test includes
    reasoning ability
    quantitative aptitude general awareness .
all the best for your preparation

Re: What is the eligibility to appear in Bank Exams?

the entry point for clerical staff is in the cash department as examiners of coins and notes. They are promoted to the next grade when they successfully clear the relevant examinations after 5-10 years of service.Anyone in the age group of 18-26 years having a degree is eligible for appearing in the written test. The format of the test is similar to the RBI examination. Test is followed by an interview. Clerical staff gets recruited through regional boards. The eligibility and test format are the same as for PO examination. Eligibility is a graduate in any discipline with an upper age limit of 28 years..

    Hi

Banks are where we keep out investments, savings, money, gold and other valuables. Now in India two types of banks operate :

PRIVATE - Egs : HDFC, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra etc
GOVERNMENT : PNB, SBI, OBC, etc

But all these function under the Regulatory body of RBI - Reserve Bank of India.

Now to get a job in any of the banks, the following eligibility criteria's are needed :

    1. A candidate must be a graduate (preferably in Commerce stream) from a recognized college or university.

    2. He/She should hold good knowledge about the subject.

    3. Experienced candidates are preferred more over the others. Even MBA's are preferred more.

    4. In case of the government banks, the age of the candidates must be within 21-28 years. Some relaxation is also provided to the SC/ST/OBC classes.

So if you interested, and satisfy all the above mentioned points, then surely you may apply for any of the bank exams.
As far as I know, only the government banks conduct exams, you may apply directly in the private banks too.

    Hope this helps

    All the best

Re: What is the eligibility to appear in Bank Exams?

    Hello friend,
The private sector banks and the public sector banks have set different standards for recruitment of probationary officers.
The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for the post is a bachelors degree but the required percentage of marks varies as per the banks. However, for most of the private sector banks, you must have scored a minimum of 60% whereas, for most of public sector banks, it is 50-55%.
The age limit for the post in private sector banks is between 20-25 years and in public sector banks, it's 21-30 years.

Now, a common entrance exam is going to be conducted jointly by 19 public sector banks, and to be eligible for it, you must be a graduate within 21-30 years
