    What educational qualifications are required to appear in IBPS Exam being an 19 year General category student with 73% and 53% in SSC and HSC respectively?

    Sir, i want to appear for ibps exam. I am 19 years general category student. I have got 73% and 58% marks in ssc and hsc respectively. Can i apply for this exam ?

    i am completed my 10th with 70% marks then i applied for ibps clerk

    Hi friend, Here are the qualifications required for I.B.P.S exam:-
    The candidate must be Indian.
    Your age must be in between 18-28 years
    Must have completed +2 with a minimum of 50%
    Must have completed Xth with a minimum of 60%
    Must have completed graduation for any university with good and satisfying percentage.

    The I.B.P.S clerk exam is commencing on 27th November 2011. check this website for further details :-

    dear brother..,
    you are a qualified aspirant to appear bank test according with your educational qualification and age also...
    they asked 50% marks in graduation and age limit 18 to 28 years..

    Hello friend
    what do you mean by HSC.....
    you can apply for the exam there conducted by IBPS every year...
    but you cant apply for higher posts like PO's ,you can apply for clerks...
    there are some eligibilty criteria....
    you must have your 12th with minimum of 60%...
    you must have your graduation with minimum of 60%...
    and 10th with minimum of 55%...

    Dear friend,

    The the IBPS unit conducts exams for two units they are as follows,
    The candidate must be an Indian
    The candidate must have completed his +2 with 50%OR
    The candidate must have completed his matriculation 60%OR
    The candidate must have completed his graduation.

    These are the minimum qualification for the IBPS clerks, the IBPS clerk exam is commencing on 27th November 2011. So please check these above qualifications with your and apply for the exam.

    Yes, You are eligible for IBPS exam.The details of IBPS exam is given below.

    IBPS exam is conduct for BANK PO for 17 banks .

    Only those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for IBPS clerk exam.

    Also all candidate age must be in between 18 to 28 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

    Selection process for IBPS exam-
    1) Written Test
    2)Personal Interview

    For written test you must be care about mathematics and general knowledge.

    Dear friend,
    IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) popularly known as IBPS conducts Common Examination for initial short listing of the candidates for selection of personnel in Clerical Cadre .
    IBPS conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) 2 times in a year for Clerical Cadre posts. The Common Written Examination consists of objective types questions, total no. of questions is 250, total marks 250 and total time duration of 150 minutes.

    If you are 12th pass then you can appear for IBPS exam.As for IBPS exam min. qualification is 10th class.


    Eligibility for IBPS:

    1.You should be a citizen of India.

    2. You age should be 18 years min and maximum 28 years of age If you are a general candidate.5 yrs relaxation to SC/ST,3 yrs to OBC and 10 yrs to PH candidates.

    Educational qualification:

    (1) You have to have a pass certificate with 60% marks in 10th Class. For SC,ST,OBC,EXSM candidates are just passed.

    (2) Or you have a pass certificate with 50% marks in Intermediate (10+2), For SC,ST,OBC,EXSM candidates are just passed.


    (3)Or you have degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent.


    Prepare for the exam as it contains G.K,G.A and elementary maths questions.

    Yes eligible but for only clerk post in bank.
    For PO post you needed graduation degree.
    IBPS exam is conducted every year.
    Successful students have been issued secorecards based on their performance in the examination so that they can apply for PO jobs in the participating public sector banks.
    For PO and management trainees you must have graduation degree in any stream.
    Age limit:
    18 years to 28 years foe clerical post.
