After completing your Btech from a good college you can expect a minimum Package of 3 lakhs ,It totally depend on the college or the University you are passing out ,generally good college have Good placements and getting placed from campus is one of the easy placement ,So If you get placed from a college then minimum you can expect 25000-30000 per month ,Its a general range which people get after completing their degree,Sometimes it varies also ,depending upon the companies in which you get placed.

Re: What is the earning potential of a B.Tech graduate?

Your salary depends on lot of factors like:

Institute from which you are graduating
    Your engineering field
Your CGPA & projects done during Btech, & Internship
Your goals & ambition towards joining a particular company
    Extra curricular activities

So, if you are passing from a elite institute , then you can expect approx salary of 5-6 lakh(starting).
Computer science, electronics students get maximum job prospectus due to their huge demands in industry & research institutes.
Your CGPA is the gateway for placement, a student having CGPA is given preference over others.
And, even if you dont have a good CGPA, but have decent contribution towards cultural activities in your college, there are good chances of your recruitment.

    Hi,
B.tech is the course in demand now. There are multiple ways of earning money if you are a B.tch graduate. Many MNC's are establishing and you can become a part of software field.
Lot many companies are offering good packages such TCS,MPHASIS,INFOSYS,PERSISTENCE,MICROSOFT etc. By the time you come of the campus they will recruit through campus placements. If you are really such talented one you can be a part of global companies APPLE,FACEBOOK etc which offers packages around 75lacs per annum.
My advise to you is don't just think about job at this stage. BE technically perfect in what you study and gain good aggregate enough. opportunites come by searching your talent.
I wish you all the best,,,,,!

    Dear!!
It depends on your percentage obtained by you in the course that is- B.Tech done by you. and it also depends on the college from which , you have done your B.Tech. so, your earning potential
depends on your percentage obtained and the reputation and prestige of your college. apart from that it also depends on your personal potential to handle different situations. a engineer is required
to think in a different manner in every situation.so, to some extent ,it also depends on your way of tackling problems and your practical knowledge regarding the subjects studied during the course.

Initially if you got into a good company then one can aspect a salary between 20,000/--25,000/- per month.
rarely chances of getting 30,000/- also.
After that depending on your higher studies or experience your salary increases.
One can get about 1lac to 2 lac per month in INDIA. After a 8-10 years of experience. (If only you are placed in very good company and you have lots of skills).
