    After 12th the duration of icwa can be of 5 years including 3 years training period provided that you pass all the exams in a single attempt.

    ICWA have 3 levels-
    1.Foundation-takes 10 months
    2.intermidiate - takes more than 1 year
    3.final-takes maximum 10 monthes
    so, ICWA couse takes approx. 3 years after completing +2

    ICWA offers three kind of courses viz.

    duration for each course differs according to your performance. duration is minimum 2 years and maximum 6years.
    to do intermediate you must have completed a degree. if you want to join immediately after 12th you can join in foundation course. the duration of it is from 3years you 6years. if you are fast learner you can complete the course soon else it will take more years.

    Minimum time you should expect to pass the exams is 2 years. ICWAI course has 4 stages. You can sit all the papers at Intermediate level in sitting. However it is recommended not to do so.
    ICWA Foundation (For under graduates) 4 papers
    ICWA Inter (After graduation u can directly opt for this) 6 papers
    ICWA Final(After completing inter u can have the eligibility for final) 6 papers

    The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants Of India is one of the best institutions for the field of Accountancy of Cost and Management in India.

    To complete the course ,you should complete three stages of the entire course:

    1:Foundation Course

    2:Intermediate Course

    3:Final Course

    1)You should pass out 10+2 exam then you can apply for the foundation course and then you can join the Intermediate course after qualifying the Foundation Course examination.

    2)If you are awaiting for the result of 10+2 examination ,you are also permitted to appear in the Foundation Course examination.

    3)If you are also awaiting for the result of Graduation examination ,you are permitted for the provisional registration.

    4)your age should be 17 years.

    Fees of Foundation Course:

    1:Prospectus Cost:Rs. 200/-

    2:Postal Tuition Fee:Rs. 3500/-(including study material)

    The duration of course depends on your efforts. but minimum of 5 years it will take including your training and if you clear all the attempts in single go...
    So don't wait for time or duration, have confidence and give your 100% efforts and dedicate yourself to this course...
    But personal advice is that do something with ICWA like CA or CS as only ICWA wont give you good salary and Job....

    The course offered by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India is known as Cost and Work Accountancy course and it comprise of the following stages:

    Foundation Course
    Intermediate Course
    Final Course
    Practical Training

    Students who have qualified +2 level of examination from a recognized board has to enroll for the Foundation Course whereas, a graduate, in any discipline, can enroll for the Intermediate Course without pursuing the Foundation Course.

    The duration of each aforementioned stages of Cost and Work Accountancy course is as follows:

    Foundation Course:
    Minimum Duration= 6 months
    Intermediate Course:
    Minimum Duration= 12 months
    Practical Training:
    Minimum Duration=36 months
    Final Course:
    Minimum Duration 12 months
