    Dear..

According to me the Best thing you can do after Engineering is MBA. MBA stands for Master In Business Management at it is course which can help you in getting most out of your career. The best thng about the course is the that MBA along with Engineering is a good career option and is in very demand by the corporates

    Details are as follows :-

    CAT :-

CAT is a MBA entrance exam which is conducted by Indian institute of Managements. It is a exam conducted once in a year for admission in the premiere management institute of India. CAT is a exam where success rate is so low. The exam is objective type and you will see there are 5 major sections such as English, Maths, GK, Reasoning and mental ability. For IIM's one should not expect calls if they got below 95% and this shows the toughness of the exam

    Eligibility of CAT :-

    1. A candidate must be a graduate
    2. Graduation must be done from a recognized university
    3. 50% marks in case of General or OBC candidate
    4. 45 % marks in case of SC/ST
    5. There is no subject barrier and even Science and Arts graduate candidate can also apply for the course.
    6. Good communication skills
    7. No age limit
    8. Unlimited number of attempts

    Hope it will help

    Cheers...!!!

After engineering, you can opt for Masters degree with correspondence to your branch with which you have graduated.
Or you can go for TOEFL and pursue your goals abroad.
You can also try for government jobs by attempting CSAT, IES or other UPSC exams.
MBA is the most basic degree after BTech
    or
you can even go for a job in public sectorareas.

    All the Best..

Re: What to do after engineering?

These are jobs that are related more to your passion rather than your engineering degree. So these are mostly offbeat like Fashion designing, forays into movie or television industry, DJ, RJ etc.

There are lots of reputed companies offering the jobs to Engineering graduates.
But for applying to those companies you should have minimum 60% aggregate throughout the academics. So,the list of core companies related to engineering are

    Wipro Ltd
    Infosys Technologies Limited
    Hewlett-Packard India
    HCL Infosystems Limited
    Reliance Communications Ltd
    LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd
    IBM India Pvt Ltd

    Thanks..
