With the boom in software sector there is large number of job opportunities after B.Tech IT. You can join as a programmer or software developer in any of the software companies. You can also join in many public sector firms. Some of the leading public sector firms recruiting B.Tech IT are CDAC, CDIT, Keltron, etc. You can also look for pursuing higher studies. You can do M.Tech, MBA, or MCA, according to your area of interest. By completing a post graduation course your job prospects will increase.

    Hello my dear friend,

Management education is the best choice to you after completing your Engineering graduation that too MBA IT is the best choice to you after completing your graduation in B.Tech IT course, If you do MBA then you will be having more scope to get good opportunities in your career in good companies with good packages, and here you will be having chance to enter in directly senior level management and middle level management. If you go for M.Tech course then you will be having less chance to get employment opportunities in top companies and you don't have chance to get opportunities with huge packages.you will get very less packages. To get admissions in to MBA course then you have to qualify in entrance exams like CAT,MAT,GMAT,XAT,GET entrance tests, if you get more than 90 percentile then you will be having chance to get admission in to top business schools.

To apply for above entrance tests you must be completed your graduation with 50% of marks from recognized university with any stream and if you are belonging to SC and ST candidates then 45% of marks are eligible. There is no age limit to apply for this entrance exams.

Once if you complete MBA in IT then you will be having chance to get opportunities in all the IT companies, but try to do good business schools, where you will be having chance to get opportunities in the campus itself.if you come out from the institute then it will be tough to get opportunities.

    HI ,

If you want to work , go prepare for interviews , crack interviews and get job. if you are not good in any skills join any small crash course they will tune you up into industry expectations . finally you can get a job . many software companies hire Btech students .

and if you want to study further :

Go for MTech/MBA . good luck
