the selection on subject starts from +1 or 11th classes...
so all you need is to select a related subject which fulfills your dream course...
you should take commerce as one subject and next preferred subject is economics to do CA..
any commerce student can join CA.., and economics helps you a lot... as it updates you the financial conditions of the country..
so you can go with commerce ., economics in your intermediate...

After 10th you can opt for M.E.C(maths, economics and commerce) in your intermediate and also register for C.P.T(common proficiency test) and apply for the C.P.T exam..
After you complete your C.P.T..You need to register and apply for I.P.C.C..
And you need to clear group1 and group2 in I.P.C.C..
And after that you need to do article ship under a C.A for 3 n half years..
And then you can attempt for the final C.A exam..

And you can study till your graduation in B.COM group and after completing graduation you can direct go for I.P.C.C..

You cannot write CA entrance after 10th but can write after 12th. Contact your nearest CA chapter for syllabus and exam dates. After you complete your 12th standard you can write the entrance exam and on successful completion, you can start preparing yourself for the inter exam. By the time you finish off your graduation, you can become a CA also if you are a real hard worker.

Since you are opting for CA first of all you should opt for commerce with maths and economics . Secondly make your accounts and maths concepts strong and if you are weak in then I would suggest going for coaching classes. and after giving the final exams of your 12th start for preparing for you CPT exams which will be held in December. Coaching classes are available for them.

First of all CA course is a best in present situation , good selection .
In intermediate (+2) you must take MEC (Maths , Economic and Commerce) it is a basic step for CA course.
so,
You cannot write CA entrance after 10th but can write after 12th. Contact your nearest CA chapter for syllabus and exam dates. After you complete your 12th standard you can write the entrance exam and on successful completion, you can start preparing yourself for the inter exam. By the time you finish off your graduation, you can become a CA also if you are a real hard worker.

Along with CA, ICWAI and CS courses's entrances also can be written after 12th. I know a few people who did complete all the three along with their graduation and have become financial professionals.

CA is actually called as CA-CPT which stands for Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test .
In order to become an CA you need to appear for this examination .

And The Eligibility Criteria for CA CPT Examination is :

>>The students must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent , from any recognized University .
>>Candidates who have passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA at the first attempt are also eligible to apply .
>>The candidates who have appeared or appearing in final year of the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply .

So to become CA , after 10th you need to take admission in Intermediate i.e 10+2 .
In 10+2 you need to take the branch with background subject as Commerce .
Maintain a good score in Intermediate and attain great knowledge on Commerce Subjects which helps you alot in appearing CA common entrance examinations .

There is no such procedure to become a chartered accountant because of the reason that more and more students from non commerce back ground have started appearing for
CA exams and even students from non commerce background are opted chartered accountancy as their profession.

The general procedure followed by the students in future if they had earlier decided to become chartered accountants can be described as follows-
You must select commerce as your stream in 11th standard in order to become a CA in future.The reason being that the syllabi of chartered accountancy needs a person
to have at least the basic knowledge about accountancy and other subjects related to commerce.

After that you must study commerce in your 11th and 12th standard and should try to build strong concepts as it would greatly help in developing a bright future.
After completing your higher secondary, you must appear for the entrance exam of Chartered accountancy. The entrance exam of chartered accountancy is called
common proficiency test.After qualifying this exam, you must register for the next level that is Integrated Professional Competence Course(IPCC).
If you qualified this level you would be eligible to appear for the next level that is Ca final exam. But before that you need to pursue three years of article ship training
under a chartered accountant having a certificate of practice .After that you can appear for the final exam, and if you qualified, you would be eligible to get a membership certificate
