The graduate level course in Economics has wide scope in the financial, banking, and in other related areas. The course is offered in two-year duration or as 4 successive semesters. The same covers areas on evolution of economics, its basic concepts, Utility, Elasticity of Demand, Production, etc (in the first semester). The second semester covers topics on Economics, Market, Monopoly, Factor Pricing, and so on. The same also covers areas of Indian economy, demographic features, agriculture, land reforms, small scale and cottage industries, and so on. Concepts of banking, money inflation, and various aspects of statistics are also covered under the course. Sectoral development and environmental development are also included under the syllabus of B.A Economics.
