    Hello friend,

*) Wages is the amount which can be get paid for how many hours you work.

*) Salary is the amount which can be get paid for every months(30 days).

*) But, Wages cannot be paid every day. It will be paid only whenever work comes.

    Hi Friend.........................

The difference between wage and salary defines more than how much you end up making per year. We use the terms to often describe differences in types of work, as well as what is actually counted in the final total.

Wages are generally paid per hour. This means that you have to be present and working in order to get paid. Most of the time, wage jobs are not as inclusive when it comes to things like paid vacations, or paid sick days. Wage earners often have to give up pay for leaving early, coming in late, missing a day, or taking a vacation.

Salary refers to how much you get paid every year. Salary earners rarely have to punch a time clock, or keep an accurate account of their hours, because they get paid for performance rather than by the hour. Salaried workers are much more likely to have paid sick days and paid vacations, and are not docked pay for being late or leaving early from time to time

    Hello Friend ,

First of all both the term used for money , well the only difference that it has is that :

    * * Wages is best associated with employee compensation based on the number of hours worked multiplied by an hourly rate of pay.

    My dear friend.

You have asked a very good question.

It is a general confusion among most people that what is the basic difference between wages and salaries.

    The answer is as follows:-

Wages are paid as per hour basis.

    They are not permanent.

    They keep on changing.

Basically wages are paid to laborers.

Laborers work at many places so they are paid for the hours they work.

    These are wages.

But Salary on the other hand is a different thing.

Salary is given to professionals for example employees.

    They are fixed.

Means that the employees will get a specific amount per month or week.

All the employees get specific salaries.

I hope you will now understand the basic difference between wages and salaries.

    Regards
