Re: What is the difference between SSC and HSC Examinations?

The SSC exam is the 10th level exam. It is abbreviated from the word senior secondary certificate. HSC is the 12th standard exam. It is abbreviated from the word higher secondary certificate. Students after SSC normally apply for the HSC level course. After clearing HSC the candidates will be eligible for the graduation level course. These terms are normally used in Maharashtra.

    Dear friend,
SSC is Senior School Certificate means if you have this certificate then this means you are 11th and 12th pass.Board exams of 12th class are called SSC exams.

To get SSC you have to appear for 12th board exams and have to clear them and to appear in 11th class you have to pass 11th class.

And HSC is High School Certificate means when you will clear 10th class then you will get this certificate.

To get HSC certificate you have to pass 10th class board exams.

To get SSC you need to have HSC.

I think i have cleared your doubt .

    best of lk..

Re: What is the difference between SSC and HSC Examinations?

    hi dear friend,

SSC was old education format -means Secondary School Certificate - or called as Matriculation-the 11th std in school.
HSC now means Higher Secondary Certificate equivelent to 12th std.

SSC is the highest examination in the school level, every student must clear ssc exam to promote next classes.

HSC is the Intermediate, where there are different groups are available like MPC,BIPC,CEC,HEC,MEC etc...

students should be careful while selecting branch in their HSC, because selection of branch will decide your entire career.
this will impact on your career. if you want to do engineering you can go for MPC, which is the best option.
if you want to do medicine then you have to go for BIPC. students who did their +2 in BIPC, they only eligible to do medicine.

if any one want to do management courses like MBA, They can choose B.com.

    good luck...

SSC stands for Senior Secondary Cerificate.
In India, it is popularly known as Board Exams.
    We also call them matriculation.
SSC is pursued in various boards of education, like central board (CBSE) or state boards.

HSC stands for Higher Secondary Certificate.
    It's also known as +2.
Herein, one needs to choose the stream of study.
It may be Arts, Science or Commerce, or any other vocational or diploma which also stands equivalent to HSC.

The scores of both SSC and HSC are very significant and on their basis students can acquire standard education further.
    All the best!!!

In India, 10 2 level means 12 th Class, when State Education Boards conduct the exams, they call it Higher Secondary Certificate, when C.B.S.E conducts the exams it call it as Senior Secondary Certificate, both are basically the same, at 10 2 level.
