hi
Regular MBA has more value than distance MBA. Most of the big companies do not even consider much for a distance MBA.
After B.tech if you have already got a good job and you are happy with that, then you may opt for part time MBA. Actually you can even choose any other masters degree as masters degree will be beneficial for a good salary package and promotion.
If you want to switch to management, then you opt for full time MBA from a good college.

You may even go for a full time MBA after 2 years if you decide to take up a job now. You will get time to decide on MBA during that time, and get some experience as well.

hey,

Your concern is quite understandable but you can say that this is the companies perception that they value regular course more than the distance learning courses.

As, it is advisable for a person to do MBA through correspondence mode only if he has enough work experience. Doing MBA through regular mode is better for a person who has no work experience.

For a fresher to seek job in reputed firms, the degree earned through regular mode is more advantageous.

The cost of the distance learning course will also be affordable and less as compared to the regular mode.

This is more apt for candidates who have got work experience and need a degree for career advancement.

Job opportunities in the market are better for the regular course candidate.

Basically the difference is in terms of job opportunities, cost of the course, & time required for each course.

But the third option can also be the part-time MBA which is better than distance learning course if a person who does not have any issues with spending three-four hours every day for classroom sessions. And the part time course has a value more than distance learning course but less than full time MBA, so this option can also be considered.

All the best!!!!
