Re: What is the difference between IIPM and MBA?

You want to know the difference between a degree and a institute. Comparisions and
differences are made between things that fall under same category. However let me clear.

IIPM stands for Indian Institute of Planning and Management which is a institute
which offers various Graduate and Post Graduate courses related to management and
buisness education. The institute has it's headquarters in Delhi and several branches
in other cities of India. The institute offers programms under the International and
Programs under the School of Business and Economy. The Institute does not offers BBA and MBA
degrees by itself , but theses degrees are awarded to the students by International Management
Institute, Belgium . Also the Institute courses are not recognised by AICTE and UGC, but the
institute is known for providing quality education to students by providing practical exposure
to students by arranging foreign visits and organising visits by world reowned professors .

Whereas MBA stands for Master of Buisness Administration and is a Masters degree in Buisness
management. MBA degrees are of various types and can be subdivide into Full time, Part time,
Executive programmes, Distance Learning programmes.MBA programmes are offered in various
disciplines like Finance , Human Resource, Operations management , Sales and Marketing etc.
MBA is a degree which attracts followers from diversified fields like Commerce, engineering
arts , Archtecture etc.The reason for this is that MBA is a very versatile degree that helps
one to learn management skills and transforms one into a professional.
