There are lots of Difference between E-Ticket and I-Ticket, When ever you are going for book Railway ticket online from the Indian Railway official website, then you will get these two options and you have to choose any one of the option.

Mostly, E-ticket will be preferred by most of the users and Both i-Ticket and E-Ticket are the Internet Online Booking tickets.

In case of E-Ticket you will not get any physical tickets. You have to take the print out from the internet anytime after your ticket booked successfully. But in case of I-Ticket, ticket will be send to you by courier by Indian Railway without any extra cost, the cost included in your ticket.

E-Ticket is best option because E-ticket is provided to you in the form of an email that you have to print or you can also print after booking. But when you go for Journey then you have to show your Identification for proof.

You can also cancel your E-ticket online from the official website of IRCTC and after deducting some charges your refund will be transferred in your bank account.

So, I-Ticket is delivered to you in your address, but in case of E-Ticket, you will get your ticket online only.

For more details you can check from the official IRCTC website:
