the fine arts is an academic degree which requires all the course work be completed in the liberal arts stream(history, english, sociology etc).
a bachelor of arts is not bachelor if fine arts.

a bachelor of fine arts is a professional degree that requires almost 1/4 th of the course work in the liberal arts and the major which u will decide. for ex:b.ed or bba.

Bachelor of Arts is a general degree whereas Bachelor of Fine Arts is a professional degree.
If you take BA, you'll get courses like history, literature etc. With BFA, you get courses like intensive art and design studies i.e. it focusses more on visual arts than anything else.
Bachelor of Fine Arts also has more rigorous course work than the Bachelor of Arts does.

    Hope this was helpful!

    Dear friend,

There is not much difference in between Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts course. Both are same thing but name are different. As we see in Engineering course, some colleges provides B.Tech degree where as some colleges provides B.E. degree. In different countries Bachelor of Fine Arts get different names.

Bachelor of Arts is a traditional course and very populated course where as Bachelor of fine Arts is not so much popular. Bachelor of Fine Arts is a new degree course which you can also termed as professional course where as Bachelor of Arts is a regular course.

Bachelor of Arts is totally arts stream course which you can do with some subjects like English, Hindi, Economics, History etc. where as Bachelor of Fine Arts is a totally creative course in which you can choose drawing, acting, musical theater, computer animation, dance, drama, film production, animation, visual effects, graphic design, fiber, illustration, industrial design, metalworking, interior design, music, painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, television production, comic art, advertising, furniture design and web multimedia etc.
