    DIFFERENCE BETWEEN B.E AND B.TECH:
THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN B.E NAD B.TECH IN TERMS OF VALUE AND SCOPE.BE AND B.TECH HAVE SIMILAR SCOPE AND FUTURE .

AS AICTE APPROVE COURSES MOST OF THE COURSES ARE SAME AND IDENTICAL FOR BE AND B.TECH. THE UNIVERSITIES THOSE OFFERING BE WHEN STARTED NEW COURSES NAMED THEM TO B.TECH TOO.

BE means Bachelor of Engineering which is the degree given by most of the private institutes of the country, while B.Tech is the Bachelor of technology which is the degree given by all the govt institutes like IIT/NIT/REC etc.

as far difference between them is considered there is no difference as both are equivalent degrees, hence the job prospects and scope is same and similar for both.

    Good luck

    difference between B.Tech and B.E

BTech. stands for Bachelor Of Technology.

BE. stands for Bachelor Of Engineering.

There is very little difference today,B Tech is said to be more skill and practical oriented study of Engineering and BE is knowledge and Theory based ...

The scope of both the programmes are the same. BTech was the designation of some three- and four-year programmes ....

Re: What is the difference between B.Tech and B.E? Are they both same?

    My dear friend.

The query you asked is also the query of many people.

Basically B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology.

And B.E stands for Bachelor of Engineering.

Technically there is no difference between them.

Some Branches or Streams of Engineering are listed under B.Tech and some under B.E.

Otherwise they all fall under Engineering.

So, my dear i hope you will understand.

Both B.Tech and B.E are technically same terms but the name is only different.

    Thanks.

    Regards
    tanveersandhu.
