BE is for Engineering and is theoretical
B.tech is for technology and is more practical.
BE is studying in depth and Btech is enhance the skills of an engineer.

    hai,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
dear every one like you have many doubts about what is the difference between b.tec and b.e,
you have to be clear that there is no difference between B.E and B.TECH,
even there is no difference in values and scopes ,
generally these two are difference in names that is because after the independence of india , there are two types of universities in the world,
one of the field is like
    science,
    arts,
    education,
    and engineering.

the second type of universities are named as institutes offer only degrees in engineering.
some of the other universities are offering their degree along with engineering for that they named their degree as BE( bachelors of engineering) and those institutes who offers only engineering they named it as b.tech.
you may have clarified your doubt,
courses are same you have to get the course so that you must strive hard at present to get good universities and colleges.
you have to give the entrance exams to get good colleges all over the india .
if you have a good aim you must write the AIEEE and IIT.
THESE ARE VERY TOUGH EXAMS TO CRACK ,if you crack this exam you will be in heaven of happiness in your life. for that you have to work hard to achieve this there are only 30,000 seats in AIEEE and nearly 1000000 students are gong to compete you ,
while in IIT you have to work more hard because there are only 7,900 seats are available in IIT .
if you don't want to compete for this exam than you have to write state wide entrance exam to get good colleges in your state.
    so work hard .
    all the best

    Hi,

Bachlaver of Engineering and Bachlaver of Technology
While Bachelor in Engineering is offered by most of the univerdities
The Bachelor in Technology can only be taken up in some universities like IITs etc.
It is just how universiteis offer the degree otherwise both have same curriculam and are eqivalent.

B.E. means Bechlor of Engineering and B.tech means Bechlor of Technolgy.
B.E. include theoretical +practical knowldge and B.tech include more practical.
B.E. is slightly different in B.tech.
very few colleges are offering B.tech college but
    many collges offering B.E.

Re: What is the difference between B.E and B.Tech?

    Hello friend !!

There is no much difference in BE and B'tech .

BE stands for Bachelor of Engineering and B'tech stands for Bachelor of Technology .

With this, one can observe that both are synonyms and are meant for the same definition.

Both are Graduation courses which expires for 4 years of duration .
This course is generally carried out after 10+2 or after the Diploma Course.

The different streams provided by these courses are :

    Computer Engineering
    Automobile Engineering
    Chemical Engineering
    Civil Engineering
    Electrical Engineering
    Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning)
    Mechanical Engineering (Tool and Die)
    Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE)
    Electronics (Microprocessor)
    Electronics and TeleCommunication Engineering
    Production and Industrial Engineering
    Mining Engineering

Eligibility for getting into Engineering :-

    >>The admission to these courses is you must appear for the Engineering entrance examination like IIT, AIEEE, IIT-JEE, EAMCET, etc, ..

    >>For this you should have completed your 12th standard or higher secondary education.

    >>You should be at least 18 years old or above and the maximum age should not exceed 23 years.

    >>You should be a Citizen of India.

After Engineering, you can get placed in any company for Employment or you can continue your career with further studies .

The PG courses after BE are like M'tech, MBA, MSE, B.Ed , Ph.d , etc, .

    Good Luck !!

    HI...
BE STANDS FOR BACHELOROF ENGINEERING. IN BE YOU HAVE TO STUDY MORE THEORITICAL AS COMPARED TO PRACTICALS.

BTECH STANDS FOR BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY .IN BTECH YOU WILL LEARN MORE PRACTICALS THINGS AS COMPARED TO THOERITICAL PART.

AS FAR AS RELATED TO SCOPE AND VALUES OF THESE COURSE THEY ARE SAME IN ALL FIELDS..

SO YOU CAN OPT FOR ANY OF THESE COURSES BUT BE ENSURE THAT THE COLLEGE FROM YOU ARE DOING IS GOOD.

    BEST OF LUCK...

Re: What is the difference between B.E and B.Tech?

IN THE EARLIER DAYS,THOSE INSTITUTES WHICH OFFERS ENGINEERING WITH OTHER DEGRESS NAMED THERE DEGREE AS B.E OR BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING AND THOSE INSTITUTES WHICH PROVIDES ONLY ENGINEERING DEGREE NAMED THERE DEGREE AS B.TECH OR BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY.
BUT IN THE PRESENT SCENARIO THERE IS ONLY DIFFERENCE IN THE APPROACH OF STUDY.B.TECH DEGREE DEALS WITH THEORETICAL AS WELL AS PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE WHERE AS B.E DEGREE DEALS ONLY WITH THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE.BOTH THE DEGREES HAVE EQUAL IMPORTANCE. THE BEST B.TECH INSTITUTES ARE THE INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS OF INDIA.
