    difference between AMIE and B.Tech courses:--

    AMIE and BE are both engineering qualifications. BE stands for bachelor of Engineering and is a 4

    year degree course. This is an undergraduate degree after studying 4 years of various streams of

    engineering in a college. AMIE, On the other hand is a professional certification provided by the

    Institution of Engineers (IE). This is called Associate Member of Indian Institution of Engineers and an

    individual earns it by passing a qualifying exam conducted by IE consisting of Section A, some project

    work, and Section B. For all practical purposes, AMIE, awarded by IE, is recognized by the

    government of India as equivalent to BE for appearing in graduate level examinations such as those

    conducted by UPSC or for employment purposes.

    There is very much differnece in between the B.TECH AND AIME that is:

    B.TECH is also called as the engiering degree which is the course of 4 years...

    B.TECH consists of 16 streams in it like ECE,CSE,EEE,CIVIL....it is also called as the bachelor of engineering course

    AIME is the proffesional certification which will be given by the INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERS..
    AND it is also called a s the member of asociate member of institute of engineers..

    AIME is recognized by the government of india..

    if you get job in AIME then you need to work under sections like sectiona and sectionb...

    but in B.TECH you can get job in various software companies like TCS,CTS,IBM...
