officers . The total vacancies are 1000.
The date of written examination is:-24.07.2011 (SUNDAY)

Well it is good news for your that SBI have recently declared the date for examination on 24th August 2011, and the last date for the application is 9th June ,2011. So,hurry up and fill the application form and start preparing for SBI PO exam .The eligibility for appearing in this exam is that you should be 21 years of age and compelted your degree level with throughout 60% means 10th , 10+2 and degree level ,in all the standard you should be passed with minimum 60% aggreagate marks .And ,after that the exam is into the three stages i.e Objective, Descriptive and the last is an interview process . Bank PO is a exam conducted for the post of probationary officer.The eligibility criteria changes from bank - bank.

Important Dates:

Commencement of online registration: 1st Feb, 2011

Last date for online registration: 10th March, 2011

Written Examination date: Mid week of April, 2011

The SBI exam consists of of 3 stages of selection

Main exam
Group discussion
Interview.

Main Test: Time 3 Hrs. (combined)

This will be an Objective and Descriptive type examination

The objective type examination of 2 hours duration will consist of:

State Bank of India Probational officer exam is conducted in two parts- one subjective and the other objective.

The objective portion consists of multiple choice questions each containing 5 options and you have to select one of these.The questions are usually asked from a number of subjects- for example Banking,General awareness, English, Marketing, Quantitative Aptitude,Logical Reasoning, etc.
Alll of these subjects require a lot of practice as well as dedication to score good marks.A student must concentrate on this portion(tier) first to score well in the exam.
The other portion consists of Subjective questions, they are to be answered in great detail and with due care.
The exam for SBI (associate bank ) Probational officer exam is going to be conducted on 8th August. But the last date of filling the form is already gone but you can wait for the next notification as it would announce the date of the next SBI exam.
