Master in Social Work (MSW), is a two year masters degree open to all graduates from any stream.
An MSW degree enables one to become a trained social worker and be employed in government, private or NGO sector.

There is a big section of people in our country who are affected by evils of society such as
poverty, unemployment, inadequate health and education facility, alcoholism, drugs abuse.

Some good institutes in India offering such courses are
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) , Delhi School of Social Work,
Yashwantrao Institute of Social Science Studies and Research,
Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management.
After compleating the course one can get a job in various NGO as a
field officers, project coordinators, project managers, and development offices, directors at state and national level.
