    course : 1) foundation course 2) intermediate course 3) final course
    the subjects include : FOUNDATION COURSE :fundamentals of accounting
    mercantile law
    maths and stats
    economics.
    INTERMEDIATE : advanced accounts ,management accounting ., auditing , company law.
    FINAL : all six papers + direct tax

    CA is one of the Professional course.And in India, the profession of chartered accountancy is regulated by the Insitute of Chartered Accountants of India .And also , it is considered as the second largest body of professional accountants in the world after AICPA (American Insitute of Certified Public Accountants). And so ,there are a lot of courses and modules in this field .Just go to the website namely www.icai.org and thus you can able to get all your doubts clear related to CA . And for the syllabus for CA CPT there a Commom Proficiency Test ,in which there are 2 sessions :
    Session -1 will contain a) Fundamentals of Accounting b) Mercantile Laws
    Session - 2 will contain c) General Economics d) Quantitative Aptitude

    COMMON PROFICIENCY TEST (CPT) is one paper of Four hours duration of 200 Marks divided in 4 section namely-
    Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting ( 60 Marks )
    Section B: Mercantile Law ( 40 Marks )
    Section C: General Economics ( 50 Marks )
    Section D: Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 Marks)
    After clearing your CPT you can enroll yourself for IPCC.The detail syllabus for IPCC and Final is attach to this post.

    C.A. is done in 3 steps..
    1) CPT (common proficiency test)
    2) IPCC/PCC (Integrated proficiency competence examination)
    3) 3 years articleship...then you are eligible for giving C.A final exam

    C.A. is consisted of 3 steps :
    1) C.P.T ( common proficiency test)
    2) IPCC/PCC ( integrated proficiency competence examination )
    3) 3 years articleship and then you are eligible for giving C.A final exam
    and C.P.T comprises of.. merchantile law, economics , accounts, and quantitative maths

    In CA there are three stages.
    1st is CPT
    2nd is IPCC
    3rd is Final

    In CPT there are four subjects i.e accounts, law,maths and economics.
    In Inter there are six subjects three in each of two groups.
    After that 3 years articleship then to final in which there are eight subjects

    The candidates must write the CA CPT exam to become a charted accountant.The eligibility needed for this exam is mentioned below:

    Eligibility:
    1. The candidates must have passed +2 with 10th,12 pattern from a recognized board.
    2. The candidates who have done B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA are also eligible.
    3. The candidates who are doing their final degree examination are also eligible for the exam.

    i have passed Group I of CA intermediate course on 1991 and did not qualify the Group II. After a long period i want to complete atleast CA intermediate. can me appear for that. now i have 42 years. if possible what are the subjects. otherwise what will i do?

    The procedure to become a chartered accountant can be explained as follows:
    1)CPT(Common proficiency test)-
    This is the initial stage in the process of becoming a chartered accountant.The exam is an objective examination of 200 marks.The exam consists of four sections-
    Fundamentals of Accountancy
    Quantitative aptitude
    English
    Mercantile law.
    You need to obtain 100 marks to clear the exam.The exam is conducted twice in a year.

    2)IPCC(Integrated professional competence course)
    This is the intermediate level. The exam consists of 7 papers and each exam is of 100 marks each.The subjects include-Accountancy, financial management, cost accounting,
    taxation, audit,etc.You need to clear this exam in order to move to the next level and you need to register for the next level.

    3)Ca final-
    This is final phase in the process of becoming a CA. This exam consists of 2 groups.But before that you need to undergo three years of article ship training
    under a chartered accountant practicing in India.

    Dear Friend,

    CA is charted accountant.

    It requires minimum 12th std from recognized board.

    The structure for the CA are as follows:

    CA-CPT

    IPCC

    Article ship Training

    Final CA

    CPT is an entrance exam for the CA.

    It contains the 4 subjects..

    Law

    Maths

    Accounts

    Economics


    The total marks of CPT paper will be 200.

    The passing For CPT is 100.

    If you will get 100 or above then you can go for the IPCC..
