    Yes, the CTET Exam is postponed in Punjab, Manipur and Uttarakhand States from Jan 2012 to May 2012.

    Paper - I 10:00 to 11:30 hrs

    This was the first Schedule released by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE).

    All the States of India followed the Schedule except 3 states which are mentioned above i.e Punjab, Manipur and Uttarakhand.

    CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (CTET) is conducted by CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, DELHI. This exam is apply to schools of the Central Government and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

    For General/OBC candidates the cost of application form is Rs.500.
    For SC/ST/Differently abled candidates the cost of application form is Rs.250.

    CTET Online Application Starts date is from 21.03.2012 to 06.04.2012
    Last date to receive the admit card is 30.04.2012.
    CTET 2012 exam will held on 05.05.2012.
    The announce of CTET 2012 result will be on 10.06.2012.

    The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central
    Board of Secondary Education, Delhi which will be held on 29.01.2012 (Sunday).PAPER I 10.00 TO 11.30 HOURS,
    PAPER II 13.00 TO 14.30 HOURS, both exam was held on same day this year.

    Next year i.e the CTET2013 exam will commence generally in the last week of June.Candidate must score 60% to qualify in this examination.

    hai,
    dear CTET (central teachers eligibility test) was conducted by the the ministry o human resource development, govt.of India. Conducts the exam on the month of January and May,
    teh dates are same not postponed and teh date of teh exam is already compleated you have to wait for next year.
    The applications are available from -1-11-2011 to 25-11-2011, the exam is 29-01-2012.
    The information regarding the exam on the month of may2012,
    The applications are available from 21st march 2012. You can submit your application through the official websites.
    The last date to apply through online is 6-4-2012,
    If you have any problems regarding your application or any dates you can contact them from 25-04-2012 to 30-04-2012.
    The date of the exam is conducted in the month of 5th may 2012.
    The certificates you will be received in the month of June 10th 2012,


    the eligibility for this exam for classes 1-5:-
    You have to complete 2 year diploma in elementary education or you may in final year to be eligible, you have to get 50% of marks, (or)
    you have to complete 2 year diploma in elementary education or you may in final year to be eligible ,you have to get 45% of marks in accordance with NCTE regulations 2002.(or)
    You have to complete 4 year bachelor of elementary education or you may in final year to be eligible, you have to get 50% of marks, (or)
    You have to complete 2 year diploma in education or you may in final year to be eligible, you have to get 50% of marks
    eligibility for the classes 6-8 are,
    You must have bachelor in education with 50% of marks, or.
    You may have the 45% of marks in bachelor in education in accordance with NCTE regulations 2002.
    You may also have the 4 year bachelor in elementary education with 50% of marks.
    application procedure:-
    You can apply the application through the official website,
    you can pay through debit/credit card, or demand draft in favor of the secretary ,central board of secondary education,
    the fees is 500/- for the OBC category,
    250/- for the sc/st.
    structure and content of syllabus :-
    (paper 1 and paper 2)
    paper 1 for the classes 1 to 5 which is known as primary stage.
    • 1.child development and pedagogy 30 questions.
    • a)child development-15 questions,
    • 2.language1 carries 30 questions.
    • a)language comprehension
    • 3.language -2 is 30 questions.
    • a)comprehension,
    • 4.mathematics 30 questions,
    • 5. environmental studies 30 question,
    paper-2( fro class 6 to 8) elementary stage :30 questions
    • 1.child development and pedagogy 15 questions,
    • 2.language1.30 question,

    • a) comprehension 15 question.
    • pattern of examination.
    the CTET exam will be in objective type multiple questions, and there will be no negative marking.
    • paper-1: for classes 1-5 ,

    No ; The CTET 2012 Went As Per Schedule !!


    CTET is a Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

    In this there is following post-


    Teacher(for classes I to V): Primary Stage

    Teacher(for classes Vi to VII): Elementary Stage


    Eligibility according to the Primary Stage:

    Graduation of two years Diploma in Elementary education.

    At least 45% of marks in Diploma or Bachelor Elementary Education.


    Eligibility according to Elementary Stage:

    Graduation with at least 50% marks in Diploma or Bachelor Elementary Education or B.ed.

    Age ::

    There is no age limit

    Important Dates:

    Date of written test exam :29 Jan 2012

    Paper I: 10 am to 11:30 pm

    PaperII : 1 pm to 2:30 pm

    Application Fee:

    For SC/ST it is 250/- Rs

    For General and OBC it is 500/-Rs


    Pattern of Exam:

    This will be an objective type questions.

    There will not be negative marking.

    The application form/confirmation page complete in all respect should be submitted in person only at the designated centres latest by: Tuesday, April 10, 2012.
    Date of entrance exam: Saturday, May 5, 2012

    exam was planned to conduct on 29/jan/12. due to general election in punjab,chandigarh,etc., exam
    was then postponed to 5/may/12.
    the result of 29/jan/12 was declared on 6/mar/12.
    the result of 5/may/12 was declared on 29/may/12.

    The exam dates are gone but the details are given below
    The candidates appearing from the above examination centers are advised to preserve the
    Admit Cards to appear for the postponed examination on 5thMay, 2012 (SATURDAY).
    In the remaining states the CTET-JAN 2012 examination will be held as per the Schedule on
    29.01.2012 (Sunday).
