Re: What courses should I opt after +2(Bio-Maths) to become a professor in Chemistry?

After + 2 you have to apply for B.Sc(PCM) or ( PCBi) than after you do M.Sc from chemistry and remember one thing try to opt more than 55% in M.Sc.
Than after this you can apply for ph.d and after succeccfully compled your ph.D you could become professor of Chemistry.
So keep courage and studt well and honest towards yourself and your studies.

This has been not noticed that BHU has one of the best chemistry faculties in the country. So,if you are anywhere in the country first start your carrier with a
B.Sc. in Chemistry from BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY
    OR
An integrated M.Sc. program from any of the IITs..

    good luck...

To become a lecturer in chemistry you have to either study
    ---M.sc (Chemistry) or
    ---M.tech(Chemical engineering) or
    ---M.pharmacy

your specialization in the above courses decides which subject tou are going to teach in Chemistry like organic chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacology.etc..
