MCA is master of computer application. It is 3 year post graduation programme. It is generally opt by the students who completed Bachelor of computer application. Otherwise it can be done by students who have their bachelor degree and scored atleast 50% marks in graduation. Also students must have maths as one of their subject in 10+2. Mca is having good carrier scope. One would get many jo opportunities on the completion of MCA. After MCA one get jobs as Software devloper, tester, designer, network admisnistrator.

Fee for MCA course is depends on in which college you are taking admission. For government college it is quite less. It is around 15000-20000 per year. However for private college it is quite high in comparison to government colleges. It is around 100000-150000 per annum.

So ,here is the criteria for MCA Course ...depending upon which if you are fulfilling you can appear for MCA course .....

Student should be Indian citizen.
You need to be a graduate with minimum 3 year degree from any recognized university for being eligible .
You need to have passed class 10+2 examination in any stream with mathematics as compulsory subject.
If you are final year student you can also apply for MCA exams.

And the fee structure depends on the type of universities, different universities have different fee structure
For example, east west university of bangalore has Rs.80,000 fees
It is quite high but the placement is very good because just last year in 2011-2012 ,the students of final year got placed in INFOSYS with salary of Rs.25,000 per month

Therefore opt for a university which has best placement cell.

The course duration is only 3 years and the course fee varies from college to college depending upon the extra facilities provided by them. The eligibility also vary from college to college some college seek 50% some 60% depending upon the University under which the college provide the degree.

Dear I have done MCA from IGNOU.
It is 3 years course and the fees is Rs.8000 per semester .
And the fees structure in govt. Colleges is 2000 to 28000 per semester and the course duration is three years.
In private colleges it vary.
The fees structure for pvt college is 85000 per year. In pvt colleges the fees is very high for MCA.

After bca ,can we do a btech course. .it is posible or not.
